Holy frank, this site is dying.

Take a look at other threads - nobody is commenting anymore.

Buffalo thread used to be very busy. Same with Flyers.

Dead.

Wondering if most people's attention has shifted to politics for the time being.

I am excited for this thread to reach triple digit pages.

Having said that, Go Leafs Go, I guess.

Fine by me as long as it doesn't cause work for others and nice and easier for you no doubt!

I live in town, and downwind so every lazy SOB who doesn't rake creates more work for me. Recycling day and garbage day are also annoying as I get a bunch of other people's crap on my lawn because they put out overflowing bins or open bags making no effort at all.

Sometimes people just suck.

While I'm yelling at clouds might as well tack on a 'your an idiot' to the people who think when they shovel their driveway just pushing the snow into the road is a good strategy so 'the plow will get it'.

Yes the magic plow for sure will get it and definitely won't just push it into someone else's driveway. I actually think pushing snow into the road is (where I live) something where the person can be fined under a bylaw but of course they never are.

Hockey Talk!

Im trying to decide if this years Leafs are any better than the last several.

they are currently where they usully are..not the top Dog, but just enough ahead to not really worry about much.

the bottom 6 imo needs to big improvement. not scoring enough.

Tanev has been as advertised, what a stud

need a scoring play driver on the 3rd line, and probably the 4th

glad Reaves is out.. he useless. doesnt fight ..sucks ass

Unfortunately, I have too many leaves, the amount of mulch left on the lawn would kill it. I have to rake a few times.

But when I do mow it and leave the mulch, it has saved many many bags and time

- Fakepartofme

Same here but I mow to mulch and then bag once mowed which allows for a lot more per bag but it's still a pain in the backside. I wish I lived some place where you just rake all your leaves do the end of the lawn and the city comes by with a huge vac truck and your good.

I don't know if they do that anywhere in Ontario anymore?

Oh same here as far as the want, but I didn't have the luxury to do so when I had to buy my current place.

Next place I move to will be much much different and provide much more privacy and distance from annoying neighbors. lol

Maybe it's just me but I FEEL like they are different this year and I'm fine with not having a regular season where they roll over almost everyone & then are shocked the cute play doesn't cut it come playoffs and when they realize this it's too late.

Also feels to me like they are still adjusting to the new coach and style and figuring out which players can make the adjustment and which ones can't and need to go.

I am WAY happier withe the Defense this season than I have been in a pretty long time.

Man, it's gonna be rough for Jets fans after that hot start, to regress back to what they really are. An average team at best

I have one of those Leaf blower/ sucker vaccum things. love it. it sucks all the leaves up, with fan blades inside that cut the leaves up fine. Just have to empty the bag now and then but a huge time saver and easy riddance of leaves.

The personnel on D definitely has a different feel and vibe to it. I feel our D core, if healthy, and that's a big if, is built for playoff hockey for once.

Agreed - staying healthy (as usual) is a big part of it but even the 'extras' on D feel less "OMFG It's Marty Marincin Nooooooooooooooo" than in past years.

Good for them. A solid goalie and not much else. Not impressed. Imo nothing more than an average team that is even worse than our flops in the playoffs.

I have seen those vacuum trucks as recent as two years ago ontario....but I cannot recall what city it was.

Every year (the past 8 or so) the leafs get 90 - 105pts blah blah blah.
The true tale of if this leafs team is better, will be what they do in the playoffs.
Can they make it past 5 games in round 2, can their core players score when it counts (elimination games), can they play this shut down style in the playoffs.
