While I agree with all the above.
We've seen the same reaction in here when some leafs fans think the refs cost the leafs a game....and they've lost by several goals.....mind you not 4 goals like what occurred to the Sens ....but the Sens really sucked. Some peeps gotta point fingers at any direction other the correct one.

I am thinking of changing the privacy in the reddit group from private to public.

I can't find a way to set up the permissions that way I want, so I might just make it wide open.

Currently, new members need approval and then every single post needs approval before it appears.

I would like it to be : new members need approval, but once approved, all posts are seen immediately without needing approval from a mod.

The only I can see to fix this is to make the group public. This will allow a bunch of non-HB people to wander in and post. I'm not completely opposed to that idea, but I want the group to be for HB peeps and not just every rando on reddit. Does it matter?

We're about 25% of the way through the season. On the surface the Bruins are an average team right now - at 5v5 they are -3 and are 17th in xGF% - so very mid-range. They have an above average 5v5 save percentage, an above average number of HD chances against (meaning fewer), but a lower HD Save percentage. All of that usually translates to a bubble team in the wild card mix.

What's killing Boston right now is their special teams are dreadful. They are dead last in the league with an 11.7% PP and 25th with a 75.6% PK. I mean no one has drawn as many penalties as the Bruins, but as is the NHL's wont, no one has taken as many either leaving Boston with a small deficit in that area (-3 net penalties).

We want them to suffer through some bad contracts? The Bruins have paid Elias Lindholm $7.75m for 7 years and he has 9 points through 20 games with only 5 of those being at 5v5. Last year the Calgary Flames had a dreadful powerplay and then they traded Lindholm and got Kuzmenko in return. The Flames power play went from 29th @ 13.8% at the time of the trade to 12th @ 24% from the time of the trade. Vancouver's powerplay fell from 8th @ 25% at the time of the trade to 24th at 18.8% from the time of the trade.

I would speculate that if Boston wanted to improve their powerplay they would get Elias Lindholm off of unit 1 - and possibly off of the Power Play altogether. Likely because he is being used in an offensive role, Lindholm - who is one of their better penalty killers - isn't on the PK as much as guys like Beecher and Coyle, who sort of suck at it in comparison to Lindholm and Zacha.

Ultimately Lindholm doesn't look like he's what Boston wanted - he's not offensive enough to drive line 1 and he's not being used in the defensive role that he's best at (and at $8m it's hard to put him in that role).

Minten up and Kampf on the IR retroactively, but we have like 4 games to close out November, because NHL scheduling.
