Better bring some new drawers and a roll of toilet paper.

Already at Jewels picking up 3 ply tp

Edit:

Blackhawks’ defense pairs tonight:
Brodie-Jones
Vlasic-Crevier
Allan-Murphy

In what world are Crevier and Brodie playing better than Korch?

Donno why
That seems dumb as hell. He can absolutely play the remainder of the year in the NHL.
If I hear another he needs to play in the AHL to improve in the NHL,I'm gonna sh!t my pants.

Martinez ready to come back, Kaiser called up. Brodie paired with Jones tonight. Might as well get KK some ice time until another injury, or Martinez gets traded.

Korch better get another 20-25 games this season.
Otherwise this is a lost season for him in my opinion

We said the same about Brandon Manning, and as bad as Brodie has been, he’s better than Manning. KD just has to retain some salary.

Even moreso than Korch, Nazar needs to stay up he's too fast for the AHL. He needs to learn what he can and can't do in the NHL.

We'll see but my guess he stays up, he's playing effective hockey and if that continues he won't be sent back to the Rock. I know Reichel isn't scoring much but he to is playing effective hockey now, his game has grown since the beginning of the season.

They only have McCabe retained for this year, so two slots left. I’m thinking that they’ll use one on Hall. They don’t have any retained for next year, so maybe Brodie can go in the offseason, then they can use the other retention for this year on maybe Martinez.

KK was playing effective hockey too, but at a certain point it's a numbers game and results and production matter. It might become better to send Nazar back down where he can produce and build confidence.

Was wondering why Ludwinski was off to such a slow start, only 1 point, no goals in 21 games. Seemed like he had a good year in the OHL last year. Guess he is Ludbustski now.

Just not a lot of spaces with all the prospects coming in. Would like to see Guttman, Luypen, and maybe even Marcel get another chance next year but I don't think there are spots for them.

- totem

Ludbustski with a goal last night in the ROC win. Good to see him get going, he's got some time to show out at Rockford.

Guess I just need to complain about him more.

US is running into a hot goalie, 3-2 Finland thru 2. This is a really good game, a great jrs match. If you're able tune into the 3rd. ..... US some grade a's turned away, Finland is getting their chances, playing a back and forth game.

Still impressed by Moore's speed.

And wouldn't mind ending up with Hagens in the upcoming draft.

If he isn’t ready to play in the NHL where do you suggest he play to improve his game?

I do agree, for Nazar it's more about being prepared for hits like the one he received from popsicle before the break.

I believe he is ready to play in the NHL.
He's a 20 year old kid. Let him play and develop in the NHL.
There is no reason for Crevier or Brodie to be playing in the NHL and him not playing.
He's had some good games and some bad moments during these 9 games. That is what it is supposed to look like for a 20 year old dman.

Not sure why send him down, especially since the team is going nowhere this season. Let him learn and play in the NHL this season

Korchinski was promoted last season when he wasn’t ready. He was said to be strong offensively but his defensive game was weak. While he improved a bit defensively last season with the Hawks, his vaunted offensive game in junior was nowhere to be seen. This season while he looked a bit better he was making a number of bad reads, he was vacating his positioning and got running around but worse he was taking on the persona of the whole Hawk team reaching his stick at opposing players trying to stay away from contact. He needs to go back to Rockford with instructions to get in front of the opposition, to use his body to impede their progression, and learn to defend properly.

The fact the Hawks are going nowhere this season is EXACTLY why you leave Korchinski in the minors. There’s no urgency to his development but he needs to develop his game. He’s not going to get better when he’s in over his head, and he’s in way over his head in Chicago right now. Add to that there isn’t a support structure on the Hawks. There isn’t a solid nucleus for Korchinski to work with to improve his game. Instead he’s basically on his own trying to get better in a league that isn’t there, nor is it designed for development. And while KD is at it I think it’s in the team’s and Nazar’s best interest that he get moved down as well.
