Liking Nazar speed and aggression with and without the puck.
- bhawks2241

He’s more interested in competing than many of the veterans.

If he’s best available on the board, you take him.

Absolutely and I have no idea who that is? I just like Schaefer’s game and what he could bring to the Hawk lineup.

Not having good mojo about our Tankathon chances. Think Schaefer will be gone by the time we pick.

Maybe some of it can rub off on Bedard. He looks more aggressive tonight too.

Good for young guys to learn things from each other. Nazar attacks the puck. Love guys that want the puck and go hunt for it. Something I hope Bedard learns to do more often.

I can't wait until the players get used to the system enough to know where to go with the puck. There are so many chances to make easy and safe outlets and they just have no idea.

Edit: or are at least able to receive a damn pass.

Well Mrazek came to play for the first time late November. Glad he is playing good.

1) Skate puck into zone with possession.
2) Look up to see no one open and zero support.
3) stop and turn at wall.
4) Skate back to own zone after turning the puck over.

Lol. Hey Nazar best forward on the ice not named McKinnon. Something I’m excited about.

Like that Bedard snipe too. Someone got him the puck in stride.

That’s one of the few times I’ve seen someone hit Bedard with a tape to tape pass when Bedard was moving.

Did anyone see D!ckinson take a bad hit or hurt his leg? Looks like he can't get around all that well.

Wasnt that Bertuzzi, i think LR hurt this team with the continuos line blender.

I know many give these coaches a lot more credit than us posters, but i think many here and myself had Bertuzzi playing with Bedard in the beginning of the season, it really was never given a chance until they fired LR.

Crazy how the Avs got the salary cap ceiling and have reverted back to being a one line team.

They remind me a lot of the 2011 Blackhawks when our best guys had to play a ton of minutes during the regular season.

Nazar is coming along nicely, too bad TT couldn't bury that shot on the PK to give a much deserved apple to Nazar because of his excellent defensive play.

He reminds me a lot of Shaw in regards to his aggressiveness to get the puck. Can't wait for the kid to get stronger.

Bedard has to be a little more sly when he kicks the puck into the net. Nazar looked really good tonight. Vlasic, what more can you say about that kid? Welcome back Wiz!

Add Nichushkin, Drouin and Landeskog back onto that team and they are certainly not a one line team. The first two should be back before too long and they will look much better. They were 7-2-1 in their last 10, so it's not like they were really struggling too bad this year. They are tied for third in the league in goals.

I don't think they have much depth even if the 32 year old comes back. The team is thin, sure they'll make the playoffs but don't think they'll win much else

It was Bertuzzi who passed to Bedard.

Bertuzzi started with Bedard and didn’t play well, in fact he was terrible. Same MO as when he was with the Leafs last season. The first fifteen twenty games he was all but invisible then he started getting on track and made his way to the top two lines. If Richardson was losing and just kept things static everyone would have been complaining. LR mixes lines and everyone is complaining. Can’t blame the coach when most players on the roster aren’t very good.

I can’t see Landeskog being much of a factor should he come back. Too much time missed and too big an injury to overcome. Colorado is one of a few teams linked to Jonathan Toews, who is also a long shot to be very effective.
