It’s completely up to Reichel to grow a pair, get his nose dirty and start getting involved in the play. He has great wheels, he’s shown on a few occasions he has good hands but his lack of assertiveness is a definite problem. It drives me crazy when he goes wide on a one on one with a defenseman, he gets a step on him the either takes a weak shot on net, passes to no one or dumps the puck into the corner with no intention of trying to try to win the puck battle. All that said he’s young and he does have the aforementioned skills. But like you said his job will be tough, he’s got to get more aggressive and tougher.

Well Foligno and Richardinson are untradeable because of their cap hits, and the Hawks need to hit the cap floor. I am assuming Ehlers or Boeser as the free agent. Who are you trading to upgrade the forward group?

Or do you replace them with Kurashev and Reichel?

I find it curious Donato has not signed yet, especially if KD asked a first for him. Appears Donato is possibly going to look elsewhere in FA.
