I don't think i've ever seen anyone post a tankathon where the Hawks didn't drop, so i'm assuming its Hagens or Martone.

It's going to be rigged, NY gets #1.

My guess on the top 3 in the draft:

1. Boston
2. San Jose
3. Chicago

So Verbeek fires his rookie coach after a 21 point increase during the season. Verbeek and Quenville played together in Hartford.

Why else would Verbeek fire his coach? He has someone obviously in mind.

Maybe KD should interview Cronin. He was a very successful coach at San Diego in the A,

Edit: 2 year head coach

Makes sense. Q came in when the Hawks were on the verge of the playoffs, now Anaheim is at that point.

Well, 4 games into the season after they just missed the playoffs

I don’t care where the Blackhawks draft as long as it is Misa.

Top 4 in 2025, that means you get a legitimate talent with the will to play star quality revues.

Pridham 2 G tonight as Kitchener tied the series with Windsor to force game 7.

Brantford is out. Oshawa won the last 4 after Lardis was knocked out of the series. Don't know that it's all from missing Lardis, but it looks like they were counting on him quite a bit.

Edit: Spellacy in the lineup for Windsor tonight.

Oshawa isn't a deep team but they have elite talents at the top. Sennecke, Ritchie, Barlow. Wang, Marrelli, Gibson

Vanacker assigned to the IceHogs. I guess the age limit thing goes away when the playoffs start? I guess Lardis was there last year, so it makes sense.

EDIT: I'd guess Misiak gets sent there again as well...

Hawks aren't winning anything the next two years, all these guys i'd run through the Nazar process at a minimum.

Can't over develop

Nazar only played half a season in the A.

Honestly had no idea they could do that. Might try to go to the game on Wed night. Tickets are $26 for 3rd row lol

Does his play at the end of the year in the post-season give you any pause? If I'm not mistaken, that's two straight seasons of disappointing playoff performances. Meanwhile, Desnoyers turned it up (I'm aware the OHL is more difficult than the Q).

Thought I had heard that Misa was hurt but was able to play. Might be the reason for a lesser performance.

Got this from PHR
With Brantford’s season ending in a Game 6 loss to the Oshawa Generals in the second round of the playoffs, he’s now free to join Rockford. Vanacker just turned 19 earlier this month, though, so he won’t be eligible for a full-time assignment to the IceHogs next season. It’s either Chicago or Brantford again for him in 2025-26 with the latter seeming far more likely given his regression this season.

Anyone know if he was injured? Misa didn't play in their last game. The numbers didn't look good for him in the series, but probably weren't great overall as they were kind of blown out.

On the plus side, Misiak looked quite good, so maybe something good there. At this point, I wouldn't be surprised by just about any pick they make. Desnoyers, Frondell, Martone, Hages, Misa, Shaefer depending on where they are picking. I'm also not all that concerned if they drop down a couple spots.

This year feels a lot more like 2022 when Slafkovsky jumped up and Wright fell. Probably lots of really good players, but no real monsters out there.

I've not seen a second of Schaefer play. Maybe he is the real deal, but I still can't get over the fact that he's been out since the end of Dec and still is ranked 1. He's on schedule to be back this month, but haven't seen anything confirming.

I love that a kid comes back from shoulder surgery halfway through the year and doesn't immediately put up better numbers than the previous year and it's a regression. He's for sure going back to Brantford, but that framing is silly.

Vague mention of an injury in this article. Misa not practicing for a U18 tournament.
