Torts would certainly liven up the press conferences…found his antics (especially in NY) to be entertaining. But I don’t see him as a rebuild guy.

Never liked Laviolette.

Hawks could do worse than an experienced coach who spent the last 3 years with the (IMO) the 2nd best coach in the NHL (after Brind'Amour).

If i saw Toews in Desnoyers id say he's my guy, i just don't see it

In my amateur opinion I see so much more talent in Hagens then Desnoyers,

Toews in his prime had the quickest stick in the league. He could always go into a crowd and come out with the puck. Bickell's tying goal game 6 in Boston.

Agree. Would rather they hire someone who doesn’t wear out their welcome in 2 years. Brian Sutter got a bad Hawk team to overperform, think it was in the early 2000’s. Was very short lived though. Definitely no to Torts.

Also cause Steve thinks it’s a good idea so clearly it isn’t.
