Thank you Toews, Hossa, Kane, Keith, Seabrook, Sharp, Crawford, Hjarlmarsson, Oduya, Bolland, Bickell, and every other Hawk player that played during the 2010-2015 seasons. For three Cups, and especially, for NEVER EVER making me have to endure what Leaf fans have been through watching their team experience epic playoff futility. I don’t think I could take it.

Florida’s forecheck won this game, they were relentless, and like Paul mentioned, Toronto’s defense was just too slow. I’m glad that the Hawks have several defensemen that can skate and make that first pass, their transition game is going to be so good.

Leafs are playing like the young Hawks. When pressured they act like the puck is a damn hot potato or live grenade. Especially the Leafs defense.

Yup, an annual right of spring

Frank Nazar is currently 5th(tied) and one point off the lead in scoring for the IIHF World Championship with 4G 5A 9P in 6 games. Not the biggest tourney and they haven't played tough opponents yet, but it's a good start for him. Better to be scoring than not scoring.

Zito has built a nice team in Florida, you need some luck like Tkachuk falling into your lap, i like how almost every forward plays through the opponent not around them. I hope to see this more and more with the Blackhawks.

You look at Toronto no 2nd or later picks ever really hit or their free agent signings, tough way to win a cup when you can't do either

Leafs losing to get eliminated at home...again, and us moving up to draft another Sam Rinzel

Up to this point I’m a KD fan and Hawks amateur scouting team fan. Whomever they draft will eventually be a good NHL player. A cup contender should be built through the draft(Vegas is an exception), however other pieces should to be added through free agency and/or trade, and that’s where we don’t know how effective KD will be, although he got a good start with the Jones trade. With Toronto’s pick falling, I wonder if there’s an opportunity to move up a bit and get Malcolm Spence, whom some here like.
