That was a horrid play by TT on that partial 3 on 1. Terrible from a vet who knows better. |

Watching the wolves game, Nazar is just dangerous gets and gives a ton of opportunities
Levshunov does know how to clear the crease. He may look disengaged but he really is calm cool and quick especially those feet. They are doing a lot of clutching and grabbing on him behind the net and he got tired of it and hammered the guy got called for a high stick, but it was a missed call.
Don't know what fatty is talking about KK is playing the left side, playing it well.

So Kurashev gets reunited with Bedard and both are a -2 this game. Kurashev is a -17 so fsr this season, extrapolated a -61, 17 worse than last years -44.
He has 3 goals and 2 assists this year, so his offense is non-existent also.
Someone tell me why he is even dressed, let alone is on Bedard’s line. Thought there was supposed to be accountability this year? |

Yeah, Mrazek needs a nap. He’s struggling fierce right now. |

Arty with a beautiful assist but for not.
Nazar with another beauty of a pass for not
Don't know how long they are going to keep him in Rockford, man if they had anybody who can finish he just set someone else up for a golden chance |

TT needs a reset. He has no idea what to do with the puck at this point. |

I don't get it 4 on 4 and the Blackhawks didn't cover that forward all the way down the ice |

Bedard is playing really passive too. |
|

What's crazy is i have my tvs set up side by side and Blackhawks and ice hogs look identical to each other style of play, really sloppy with the puck. |

This team is 80% hope plays. They seriously need of speed and hockey sense. It’s weird how apparent it is live. |

The identity of LR’s teams the first 2 years, even with a severe lack of talent was those teams worked hard every night.
Can’t say that about this year’s team. |

Nice shot by KK assisted by Nazar, but Nazar set someone else for a SOG earlier in the play. |

CLB is 5-1 last 6....... They look like a nice little club so far. - Mr Ricochet
Werenski is good and could be on a roster for the four nations tournament. The team goal differential is plus one ahead of the game today. They are playing a system and the coach has them believing/they are hungry and have actually many young improving players. The goaltending is ok...more on the good side. They could be a. Bubble team for playoffs. .......
Their GM lost that Jiricik trade because the draft choices they get are late round with a late first round pick not likely to be as good as Jiricik turns out. Jiricik may take tad more time to develop but Minny prospects develop well - look at their top young talent. Jiricik is a big right hand dman with offensive production capable. Although Spurgeon is getting older they have Faber and Brodin + now Jiri cik. And they really love their 2024 #1 Buium (sic?).
LATE ADD i do not know if there is anything g to the Provorov rumors
Several teams were hot after Jiricik despite maybe stagnant development i believe he has the talent and needs to develop properly in the better way it will turn out with .Minnesota. nice pick up. Big right hand offensive producer
On another note K Johnson is producing for them yet Fantili has not really yet come on.. buT with Russians too there is plenty of firepower so you are battling a young hungry team with the coaching player relationship good and the goaltending is fine. This is a team to be reckoned with the next few years
LATE ADD i dk if there is anything to Provorov rumors. Why would Columbus want to move a veteran descent dman? I think this is just other teams have inquired that is all |

Amazing how they are playing the same turtle system with the lead in Rockford. No value on puck possession. Forcing bad passes. If this is the plan going forward woof. |

When healthy IMO Norris is a legit #2 NHL centerman on a playoff team. ....... OTT is a great watch by the way if only to see budding superstar Stutzle play hockey. An athlete much like Reichel but the guy can flat out play. Reichel went 18th in the 2020 draft, Stutzle went 3rd in the same draft IIRC. - Mr Ricochet
Yes. |

So, you're for tearing it down to get a Bedard type and want to add front line free agents and or trade big young pieces/high draft picks for established NHL vets in yr 2 removed from the total tear down?....
We are 1 season and 25 games from the total tear down. Time to win, make the playoffs? - Mr Ricochet
This is 3 years. They moved Hagel, Debrincat and Dach 3 years ago.
They should be competing for a playoff spot this year and winning games. Maybe not winning one but they should be 75-85 point range where they aren't completely out of it until February or March - perhaps even sitting in the 9 or 8 spot after going on a heater. Not these moral victories to quote nick foligno.
They are still the worst team in the league and it's not even debatable. |

There are many ways to build a SC contender, however it is very difficult to build one without a couple of top picks. The hawks have two, and possibly a third this coming year, so they will have met that criteria. They also have the defensive prospects, prospects do not guarantee success, but a real good amount of darts there. They could use more offensive talent, hopefully they get one this coming draft(Martone/Misa?),however to finish off the construction of this team they will need to bring in more offensive talent, either through FA, and or trade. The good news is that it is much less difficult to find top six forwards than top four defensemen. Toronto’s pick and a rostered player or two should be in play for a decent <25 year old forward this offseason. - Angotti
3 top tens. 1 top 15, 2 top 20s and a top 25. And 14 between 27 and the third round.
If they haven't accumulated enough talent there to build around then this isn't the right front office for the job anyway. |
