Did not know this, Thanks. Is this disease a long term problem, a serious disease that threatens your life or the quality of it? ..... Lucic was a complete load for 5ish yrs. A beast who contributed in the Ozone.

Chronic back pain and he probably has to do regular exercises to keep it in check. There are probably some things that he can't do. Usually involving having his arms above his head.

That’s not a big problem as he hasn’t been scoring much lately.

Matthews was Allan's man and it wasn't complicated............ Man, Soderblom's movement is exquisite. Stolarz' is not. Rumblin, stumblin, bumblin but stops pucks. Reminds me a lot of Crawford, although he's not close to Corey's league, in that it ain't pretty most of the time but the puck stays outa the net.

Good God, if you have the puck on your stick 5-10 feet from getting it out you gotta get the damn thing out. You fail to do so v TOR and if they don't score a goal they're gonna keep you hemmed in for 45 seconds and burn your legs out which is big come the 3rd period.

Hawks were a 340 dog and gotta be +450 now. Good spot to throw 10 bucks down, especially with how Soderblom looks.

Man its hard to score when you sacrifice possession 12 times in the first half

Much better in the 2nd half only 4 times they sacrifice possession.

Wish we could get a no look shot to hit the corner of the net.

I think top 6 just entering his prime. It's taking the environment into account. Boston is a low scoring team that packs it in and doesn't get a lot going. He drives play forward which is nice. He was also one of their better players in the playoffs last year.

Him at 4 years 5.5 (which he signed for in Vancouver) > Bertuzzi for sure. Just a better hockey player.

The team needs good hockey players that play 200 feet and that can produce in lower event environments with the Hawks defiantly are.

- fattybeef

I was hoping that KD would sign TT and DeBrusk, as DeBrusk is a much better skater than Bertuzzi, but he probably wanted no part of a rebuild. Bertuzzi is okay, however he does not bring speed, which is what I thought KD was aiming for.

Boy, the Hawks really don't like scoring a goal and enjoying the thing for a minute before giving that goal back. ..... Overall, they are playing good enough to win. Especially the end of the 2nd period.

Rico, one of many articles regarding Rossi trade rumors.

https://clutchpoints.com/...e-pending-rfa-marco-rossi

- boilermaker100

Thanks, BM. The article mentions Rossi is a diminutive winger. Thought he was a centerman, the 2C for MN, so I looked it up and he is. Big difference in value to a 5ft 9in 185lb winger compared to same player playing 2C. https://leftwinglock.com/...d&strength=EV&gametype=GD

And this yr as their 2C he's at 19 in 24 and the kid plays a hard nosed 2 way game. .. Maybe he is on the block and MN will have the cap to deal with but Rossi just an RFA with just Kaprizov and Boldy, a steal at 7 mil thru 2030, as their big ticket items I don't get the consternation, especially with Parise and Suter only counting 2 mil against the cap next yr. Nice looking resume. Check out his draft yr in OHL Ottawa in 2020 and combined with his draft pedigree at 9th overall kid has a lotta backclass. https://www.eliteprospect...player/293179/marco-rossi

The only concern seems to be his height cuz at 23 yrs old EP has him at 183 lbs so he's stout. I always thought he used his shorter stature to his advantage getting under checks and more often than not he has the leverage on the bigger opponent.

If my phone rang offering him I'd call the whole hockey ops people in to seriously talk this out.

You know LA, I think that moral victories thing is bunk. It's a creation of Laz types or maybe Laz himself.

I've never heard the Hawks say anything about how just staying close is good enough. In fact the opposite, that no matter how well you play you gotta find a way to win is what I hear them saying.

Just Laz' way of getting hits to proclaim they ain't doing what they said they would and I'm here to show you why all season long.

Hawks looked pretty good to the eye but the fancies say that's an understatement. Hawks mutilated em in the fancies. Crushed.

Hawks had a 68.3% CF, 26-17 SOG advantage, 14-8 high danger shots advantage, 71.9 xGF. That is domination across the fancy stat board of a club that was 8-2 last 10. ....... But, and not meant as a dig at you LA, Laz will have a headline, "another moral victory?"

I thought sure Foligno was gonna score and that he was their best player last night. He was dogged and had the puck on a string with bodies on him.

I don't see any logic in your time frame?
- rpeters01

It was always going to be a 5 year deal, at a minimum. You only have to look at any other NHL complete tear downs and rebuilds to see this.

Those that don't understand that, will be disappointed. Its a free country, so you can think and post what you believe, but I'd like to invite anyone who can point out complete tear downs and rebuilds that were competeing in 3 years.

Just not realistic, but human nature is to find a scapegoat. LR seems to the guy now. Maybe he is, but i'd challange anyone with that belief to have won more games with his rosters. I think they have mostly over preformed their ability in most of his time here.

And as far as benchings, I just listened to 4 days of Flus and Waldron bashing, one of the items was the vets had to go to them all and female dog because they wouldn't coach players hard, especially the young players, and young players weren't held accountable.

One of his main jobs with the young players is to put them into an environment where they are accountable, and learn how to play at this level.

I admit there are games i just have to turn off because they are hard to watch. It doesn't necesarily bother me though, as I didn't expect them to be competeing at this point, and really don't for another two years, I never did.

These are youngster and they may be going with the older kids and seeking a certain mix, and Ignila wasn't a fit or injured.

Misa has REALLY jumped in my mind as a future prospect.

that doesn't leap frog him past the older under 20 kids.

I would be thrilled if where he gets drafted is about where the Balckhawks select.

A lot of times, I watch juniors and think this kid has got it, but it wasn't until right now, in his 3rd yr in junior now a full time centre, that he simply looks polished.

I really want me a Porter who can Martone, but I am not holding my breath that other teams will stink worse than this veteran Hawk team.

I just want another close to ready guy, not drafting a Ludwinski and hoping he can get better at scoring, or a undersized shooter like Lardis and expect him to be less of a perimeter shooter, and more of a body player.

I agree with everyone who thought Mrazek played like he needed some time off yesterday. Big picture, they keep foolin with the bull and get Mrazek injured the organIzation is in the toilet at the big league level.

Love watching Sodeblom this yr and against an offensively stacked TOR squad that's 8-2 last 10 and 10-3 at home under Berube he's gonna see some rubber, big time.

And, it's awesome to see 30 yr old Stolarz find a spot where his game is at its ceiling. I remember when he was drafted outa Tier II NAHL in 2012 in rd 2 by PHI. That's high for any NAHLer or Tier II player. Bounced around to 5-6 organIzations and here he is........ That said, and I hope he can be part of getting TOR out of the 1st rd, but that Woll kid is My Guy.

Hope we see Stolarz tonight.

Did you watch the game, VBear? Stolarz rumbled, stumbled and bumbled his way to a win. I'll take him as the opposing goalie over Woll 10 outa 10 times.

But yea, the results say Stolarz got the win and that's what matters.

This is 3 years. They moved Hagel, Debrincat and Dach 3 years ago.

They should be competing for a playoff spot this year and winning games. Maybe not winning one but they should be 75-85 point range where they aren't completely out of it until February or March - perhaps even sitting in the 9 or 8 spot after going on a heater. Not these moral victories to quote nick foligno.

They are still the worst team in the league and it's not even debatable.

- fattybeef

Follow me, fatty. 2022 was KD first draft. He starting tearing it down to the studs trading Dach and Dcat on draft day. Then Hagel and anything that wasn't bolted down. That was the one and only tear down yr.

2023, his 2nd draft, KD won the lottery and got Bedard. He kept D!ckinson, Foligno, Donato and Mrazak at the TDL.

2024 he drafts Artie. That's this yr. So we are 1 yr and 23ish games out of the tear down not 3, fatty............ And you're ready to trade assets, sign big FA and go for the playoffs this yr? 1yr and 23 games out of a tear down????

They are not 3 yrs out of a tear down.

Yep, and as I thought Bedard and his line was on the ice for 4 goals against v DAL. Until the kid stops scoring 1 then giving up 2, as LR said, and gets all the premium top TOI the squad is gonna struggle no matter what the other 3 lines do.
