Hawks and KD were scouting recent Avs and Eagles (AHL) games. You would think the Hawks would get a prospect from them in addition to CAR 3rd. But as others have noted, not much in COL's system.

It isn't like Hall was a top UFA, take what you get, use your Cap for only the remaining season, so

Tampa Bay Lightning acquired Jake Guentzel from the Carolina Hurricanes for a 2025 3rd round pick, so compare that.

Hurricane have / had three thirds....their own Tampa's and the Blackhawks in 2025.

Someone also told me that Rantanen blocked a trade to Carolina last week. Colorado told him he could play for Carolina or Chicago. That’s what made the deal happen. Fear of being a Blackhawk

Like Reichel lately. More effort and using his explosive skating but man he’s weak. Dump and chase Lighting D put one hand on him and Reichel was stopped dead in his tracks.
