Garnet Hathaway
2 goals, 4 assists, 6 points, +2 in 15 games with an average of 11:41 in ice time.
Morgan Frost
1 goal, 5 assists, 6 points, -11 in 15 games with an average of 15:25 in ice time.
If this doesn’t scream “trade me”, I don’t know what does. |

Haha. Well they’d be better with mm in the lineup. At minimum he’d be better than having dlo play 5 mins a night and could help a bad pp1. Maybe they’d have won last night if he was in? I wonder if they thought of that? - Hextall271
Except they werent. MM is very talented but hes been pretty much invisible for the last 5 or so games. He needed to sit. He will look more like he did in the first 5 games. As much as we want to see him play, he isnt built to play a full NHL season yet. Most rookies arent. I dont have a problem with him sitting every now and then, dont agree with the 2nd game. I would hope to see him back Monday and I would not be surprised for him to have a very good game.
Flyers are only better with MM as long as he is at the top of his game.

It seems like if your established core hits the ice for a few seasons and there isn’t success, it’s not going to happen. Look at Buffalo and Ottawa, maybe one of them gets in this year but it’s year what for these guys and they haven’t been able to compete in the slightest. - ClaudeFather
Even for the best teams it takes a while. Colorado for example won 8 years after drafting Mackinnon. Many of the leaders on that team had been around for a while. Ottawa and Buffalo have good core pieces but arent currently built to win. One thing many Cup winners have in common is that they all have at least one player thats won before and knows what it takes.
You also have to take into account Buffalo hit a huge bump in their rebuild having to move Eichel.

The Flyers current core is the definition of average at best. They will win nothing with this group nor contend with this group. |

We need Michkov against a weak Sharks team and we need him against the next great thing against Bedard. |

Nice to see Jeremy Roenick getting some positive attention from the NHL. It shouldn’t have taken so long for him to get into the HHOF. He was a great player. Heart and soul…and talent. I loved him when he was with the Flyers. He was a bit of a Richard, but it worked for him on the ice. It just took him a little while to adjust after he stopped playing. |

Not talking about winning a cup, just being a competitive playoff team. Ottawas core has played 3-4 years together now and hasn’t sniffed the playoffs |

They have a couple good young players to build around. The supporting cast is nothing to write home about.

Drysdale banged up? Odd to see him out. Don't think hes struggled. He's playing better than the first few games of the season |

Not really Wright is exactly the C we need and Seattle i dont think would have any intention of moving him so to add a core piece we desperately need whos probably not really available would be one of the greatest moves for the Flyers since adding Pronger |

Sorry you don't get a statue built for making a trade for Wright. That is absurd. |

If that plus is a third, maybe. Not throwing stuff out the door for Kotkaniemi. Frost damn well might be the better player of the two |

I get benching, and the idea behind it, but how do they expect to see improvement with that on your line |

MM will learn how to play a 200' game and how to play only 6-7 minutes a night. Unless of course he gets to play on the PP then he might eek out another two minutes.

Can we organize a posse to go find Bill, kidnap him, and put him in a cell forcing him to write Flyers blogs on HB in exchange for food and water?
Just kidding. I miss Bill as I am sure everyone else here does. |

What’s funny is Richard actually looks like he belongs above most of the bottom 6. |
