The Jets came into this game 14-1. They've been taking care of business since game 1. We lost to the current, hands down, best team in the NHL today.

If you want to be consider one of the best in this league then you have to beat the best teams in the league.

Of our 9 wins, only 2 were against playoff teams from last season, (Leafs and Pilanders)

I think that while your statement is reasonable it doesn’t take away that this team is broken defensively. They have not been good this season. Mika being a liability to start this season wasn’t on my bingo card. Winnipeg and many other teams have seriously exposed the weaknesses of this team. They look like they are missing something. And they seem like they lack emotion to there game

Other than Mika struggling, I still really like our forward group. Trocheck hasn’t been as good as last season, and Kreider continues to only produce on the PP but we can live with that. There’s not as much to love on defense. Miller looks lost, Lindgren not himself, Trouba is shot/offseason didn’t help, Fox doesn’t look like a top 5 dman (sorry), Schneider blends in, Jones has offensive moments. Does Drury shake things up sooner than later?

Pretty much agree. Miller and Zib need a game in the press box. Idk if Lavy will do anything like that but they were bruuuuutal tonight. It’s hard to defend Zib much longer as I’ve been doing. I’d say send a message at the very least to play him on the fourth line for a night. He looks like he doesn’t wanna be out there. Miller is like the blonde defenseman from Slap Shot. And that isn’t a good thing lol

I’m hopeful they somehow get Marchand. Boston needs to fall out of it tho, which is possible. But thats a shake up addition they could really use imo

This team does not play defense from the defense to the fwds. Move Mika to 3c. Miller trouba and Lindgren have been bad.

Fox Schneider jones better. It not great.

For now pit miller back with fox and Schneider with trouba. Play jones and Mancini.

Might be a good time for a road trip which starts Sunday. Those trips can galvanize teams a bit

I think Avery should team up with Lenny Dykstra for a podcast on all topics. I would tune in for sure

Yea that line is 10000000% the bright spot on the season so far. They can be dominant at times. That Kakko goal too is what we’ve been waiting for. Strong by the net and popping in a dirty goal

Lavy definitely needs to consider them as the line that gets the most ice time in these games

yeah- I think the Pickle's solution was a solid one - restore the lines with Mika getting third line minutes
