No disappointment man. You're lying. I checked this out for myself 3 or 4 times last season. I called you out on it last season and you didn't reply. You were in here posting a fair bit and not once in the Rangers blog each time on the the same days, or around the same days if the same Rangers blog was up for a few days. Not only that but I tend to read the Rangers blog, as its one of the better ones here, and the comment section often...very, very rare to see you saying anything.
Now in the most recent Rangers blog you suddenly posted sh!t 3 times after saying this hahaha. Get outta here you weirdly obsessed with the Penguins old man. - MattStrat
Haha..who has an obsession? Seems like you are obsessed with me. May be time to get a life. |

I predict Pettersson to Vancouver and I think Karlsson is eventually moved and I am predicting Toronto or Ottawa. - 123Kid
Pettersson to Vancouver makes a lot of sense. Injuries will play a big part in dictating where he goes.
Karlsson... harder to pin down but depending on how much we are willing to retain there could be a lot of options. Ottawa really does make a lot of sense. I could easily see Toronto or Edmonton if the Pens or a 3rd party retain 50%. Nashville, Utah or even the Ducks maybe. Carolina was in on him when we acquired him.... wouldnt count them out with Burns going UFA next season.

Do you think they watched any tape on Grz before signing him? He was a healthy scratch in BOS, and he's been terrible. Just really, really bad. Seems predictable given how his season went last year. |

“I want to say thank you to Pittsburgh organization because they do a really good job for me every year and every day. It’s my second home here, and I’m glad to be here. It doesn’t matter if we win or we lose. It’s, like, I want to be here. Always together, with Sid, with Tanger." - pens4life-66
That’s great and all but if it doesn’t matter win lose or draw to you anymore just retire and go play beer league with your buddy’s. You’re a millionaire on the backs of people who buy tickets. It should matter to you that your team is poop. |

I did consider some other teams as well. I do agree Edmonton may also make sense. I think cap gets retained and I agree with another team retaining cap for a pick. I didn't include Edmonton because they remind me of the Pens a few years ago. They only have picks to shop and I think Dubas is looking for a prospect. I think he would over value some of his old prospects from Toronto. I could also see Karlsson only wanting to go to Ottawa as well. Ottawa is a wildcard and could see Pinto having some value to Dubas (who Ottawa has rumored to have shopped in the offseason).
Side note I keep hearing about us scouting Nashville. I don't know who besides maybe Pettersson they may want, but I could see them being in on a deal with us.
TIOPS reporting a deal for Pettersson could happen by the end of this month early next month with Vancouver our asking price from them is a 2nd and Nils Hoglander |

Vancouver is an interesting place because they have picks and some interesting prospects. They still have Nils Hoglander who I believe we had past interest in. Aatu Raty is another name I believe we discussed. I think prospect and pick would be swapped for Pettersson and maybe a player if it's to make the cap swap work - 123Kid
Eh Hoglander had a good year last year and we could really use him at the moment on LW but I don’t really want anymore undersized wingers unless they play with the tenacity of Marchand or gerbe. I do remember watching him as a teenager and having to google him because he absolutely stood out on the ice. Hell even our oversized players need could learn a thing or two from gerbe or Theo fleury lol. Raty was half a point per game player in the A last year at 21/22 so he might be lucky to maintain a 4th line roll.
Personally I’d start drafting the way Washington and Winnipeg do. Players with size, skill, grit, and who display intensity on the ice. They don’t need to fight like Xekhaj or defend like Scott Steven’s but they could add a little razzle dazzle or something. Make the slot a miserable place, finish checks, get rough along the boards. Fight for every inch. No more soft all skill players. |

That’s not the culture of the Pittsburgh Penguins. |
