Also wouldn't hurt to get on the phone with Utah or Anaheim. Go target a Schmaltz or Vatrano. To a lesser extent, a Mattias Maccelli. Zegras is no world beater, but the team is very much lacking in skill.

Vatrano's game has blossomed and he works down hill towards the net. Plays fast.
Schmaltz is a pretty solid playmaker.

Agree. Forward group could use more scoring touch. Might also not hurt to throw out a potential shakeup on the back end. H. Lindholm or Carlo maybe. Not JUST for the sake of a shakeup though. Maybe a hockey trade for someone who changes the dynamic on the back end a bit. Not sure who I would target though.

They need Hampus. Carlo I would move because I think you can get something for him. Carlo really isn’t very good and he seems to be regressing. He can’t handle the puck in the slightest. Peeke also seems to not be the guy. Lohrei isn’t ready, even though I was hoping he would be.

Yeah, I wouldn't move Hampus...he's actually playing close to the level he was when McAvoy was out at the beginning of the season a couple of years ago. I don't think I've said "(frank)ing Lindholm" yet this season (well at least not for Hampus). 😁
