good to hear. the way you were talking about it with your previous job you didn't have such a great relationship with your boss, sometimes it's a matter of working for the right people. it can be tough for morale at work when an bumhole is in charge.
- Pat1993

Yeah, a good job with crappy people is not as fun as a mediocre job with great people. My job is meh, but I work with amazing people, so that makes it worth it.

Well, at least for me, at this stage of my life.

I like his progress this year.

Always seems to be working hard, too.

Slaf and Dach have more skills, but they need the work ethic as well.

Im ok with Saint-Louis rewarding those who works harder with ice time and send a message to the passengers.

yeah, I work with decent people too, it's just the gossip that can get on my nerves... I have a colleague that sometimes comes in my cubicle to whisper a bunch of poop, and I'm like "you do know this is an open space and everyone can hear you, right?". jfc.

I think you put the first line together again. The Anderson/Evans/Gallagher line back together, and let the rest fight it out for the last 6 spots, based on their play.

We had 2 decent lines going, now we sometimes have1, if lucky.

I dunno man, people have weird tastes sometimes...
- Pat1993

True. I'm usually a pretty safe drinker (lol), I think the funniest thing I had was a lemon vodka beet cocktail with dill. It was interesting.

Newhook has barely shown anything so far, and I find a line with him, Suzuki and Caufield is missing some size, but we'll see how it goes I guess.

Well she first allowed me to come back after I had to go to the hospital, but not willing to wait untill I get better after and I get it. I needed more time off and a fresh start was a good thing for me as well.

I think we work better as a team where I am now, but its just the way the place is set up vs the last job. Might be in a better state of mind now as well, that doesnt hurt.

apparently there's a few mixes you can do with pickle juice, always thought it would be too strong of a taste but I'm curious to try it.

This is a really good gin Pat. Not sure I like that it's extremely blue...makes a grapefruit/gin/club soda look really really weird...but it's very good even neat.

I wonder if Mtl is looking at Jiricek as he might be on the trade market. That would be another project but hes only 20, 6th overall pick and a RHD.

I think that one is true, not a lot of d on the market + he has another year left. Not a bad contract either.

Yeah, I wonder what the Habs want?

Certainly not picks or blah prospects, unless the pan is to flip those... will be interesting to see what kind of assets they try to pick up at the TDL (or before).

Gonna be honest, kinda tired of reclamation projects.

Maybe because Dach has been injured or blah and while Newhook has had his moments, he seems like 3rd line material.

Thats what you get for a rental or a vet with one year left to his deal. + the rebuild is not over so prospects and picks is what you want.

I think you can get a first + a good prospect for him. Unless they want to target a young player that is already in the NHL. That could be harder to do cause contenders know they will need depth to win the cup.

Maybe the pick they should get from Calgary or Florida but do we have an idea where that one will land?

Unless maybe they are willing to take a guy like Barron.
