i didnt see the game, dealing w/ sick kids and all so wanted to get some sleep, but did they really struggle?
the stat card from the game shows them carrying most of the play. - NYRangers1124
Seemed to me like it was one of those games where it didn’t feel like they were gonna lose once they got the lead. It was good to see them win a “boring” game tbh, nor needed the pp to generate momentum. They called one penalty all game (Lindgren) |

Brodzinski's line with Will Cuylle and Kaapo Kakko were out-attempted (17-8) and outshot (8-4) on Sunday while allowing two HD chances without generating any of their own.
Surely the shot where Johnny B hit the crossbar was a HD chance. |

Rangers carried play the first 12-14 minutes of the first, Sea the rest of the period. In the second, the Kraken had most of the action until the Rangers scored, then they had NY on their heels the rest of the period with Quick making several key saves. The third, Rangers didn't allow much. |

My worst experience at the Garden was back in the dark days. Rangers were playing the Devils and trailing 4-2 early in the 3rd period. Peter Sykora for the Devils ripped a shot that was in and out so quickly that play continued for another 2 or 3 minutes. I thought it went in initially but just as I started to forget and hope started creeping in the Rangers came down and scored. On the stoppage they checked the Sykora shot...went from 4-3 to 5-2 and we had to sit through the 2-3 extra minutes of misery. - climbdenali12
I vaguely remember that one.
Thank you for allowing us to borrow your seats again. Not the result we were hoping for but it was still a nice night. |

I saw that. Easy to root for SJS when they’re playing Detroit too. I’m gonna make a stupid bet. Throw out some anytime goal scorers |

Thought the game had good flow and quick pace for most of it. |

Happy for Jones to get a consistent chance and make the most of it. He’s fun to watch and should only get more confident.
Who are the Rangers using as trade bait for a C if Chytil is out? Hurts to say but Othmann and/or Berard may be the one(s). |

Someone mentioned Mikael Granlund as a trade target. Here you go:

Not a fan of this being a legal play. I'm sure I'm in a tiny minority group here. But, being allowed to cross the line before the puck if you have control seems like a distant cousin to bringing it over the line and than clearly back out of the zone again while you are fully inside the line.
That goal should not have counted, IMO. |

Larry Brooks had one of those mailbag things and said he doesn't see the Rangers trading K'Andre Miller during the season but is an off season trade possibility if the team ultimately disappoints this season |
