Lindgren, Trouba, Miller, etc. Miller and Lindgren only look good with Fox. Trouba looks good with nobody.

Can’t have your top 6 filled with players that refuse to play physical. The defense doesn’t have the snarl/isn’t physical enough. I think trading Kreider is a mistake, but he needs to play more physical. I want the Chris Kreider that crushed Upshall and fought Zack Smith after the cheap shot on Stepan.

Jones and Fox can’t be in the lineup together, it’s 1 or the other especially come playoff time. And although Lindgren gives it his all, he’s too small also.

Realistically I tend to agree with Jan and others that putting Kreiders name out there is more of a wake up call than anything. Very unlike Drury to leak that to the media if he's actually trying to make a deal.

They've proven that they have the pieces to play a whole lot better than they are right now but they need a kick in the ass. My biggest wish at this point is an upgrade from Lindgren which I think from a trade perspective is the most realistic, but unsure given how the organization seems to view him.

Adding to Elliotte's reporting (with more to come): There is definite unrest in #NYR org right now, with concerns from the top about this core plateauing and increasing unease from players/employees. But sources also reminded how rare/difficult big deals are this time of year.
