Are we going to snatch defeat from the hands of victory again,,,? No lead feels safe right now.

Nevermind all those goals... that breakout... is what Grinder dreams are made of.

When we got the 4-goal lead I told my boys we still need to get another goal or two. Luckily I was (barely) wrong.

Goals are cheap thrills. A well executed breakout involving all 5 players playing in unison under an aligned idea of future success is a thing of beauty.

A very lovely lady kept me up most of Tuesday night..had like 2 hours sleep....I fell asleep before the puck even dropped (around 8:40 Newfoundland time) last night. Sounds like a missed a doozy.

Some thoughts:

* Liz looks like a good signing. Too bad he keeps randomly taking pucks to the face. Hope he can stay in the lineup because he's the kind of player they need in the bottom 6.

* The Shea-St.I pairing just seems to work. That was mostly what they used as their 3rd pair during the win streak late last season. Their best LD configuration is Petts, Pick, Shea, leaving $7M of Grz, Graves eating nachos. What a mess.

* Yes always looks good, puts in effort, and is always the first F to sit???

* I've seen enough of Nieto ... forever.

* Rak has played every game of this dumpster fire in the top 6 and is somehow even. That is quite the accomplishment.

Good points! I was thinking after last night about the 7 million that definitely needs to be in the press box. If they wanna fix the defense they need to get rid of both players.

And that's what is frustrating. Bench one of the few guys who looks motivated every night. But play a 30s vet who won't bring anything in a trade and offers little to nothing.

At least they were going to try and play the right defensemen. Can't wait until we trade some vets and play some younger guys. At least Tomasina got a decent look.

It's true. I hope some of the vets improve their value and get traded. Definitely wanna keep DOC and
Puljujarvi and some of the young guys from WBS get a shot.

Doc Lizotte pulj is what I’d like to see. Effort and speed in that line.

Friedman thinks that we will be in on Kirby Dach. If he could ever stay healthy, he could turn into a good 3C/servicable 2C. Seems worth taking a shot on if the price is low.

I'm probably the only one, but I think Karlsson would make a ton of sense for Montreal, and I've also made it clear how much I want to get Mailloux.... so lets get out there and make a deal Dubas. I don't think Montreal needs more draft picks as they have a bunch and they are looking to turn the corner and start winning.
