Laf, Fox, Miller, Schneider, Kakko, Chytil, Perrault, Cuylle, Berard, Emery
Rangers 2nd in the league in goals from U23 players and our best prospects aren’t even up
There’s a real chance to turn the ship around and focus on the next core, and that’s a positive - nyrangers2
Fox - 26 (27 in Feb)
Miller - 24 (25 in Jan)
Chytil - 24
Kakko - 23 (24 in Feb)
Cuylle - 22 (23 in Feb)
Laf - 22
Schneider - 22
Berard - 21 - 1 NHL game
Perrault - Not in the NHL
Emery - Not in the NHL
There's some youth there for sure, but some of these guys are older now than they appear.
And I mean, you have 6 guys who are currently 23 or younger, Canes have just 2, but you also have 10 guys on the roster 30 or older, Carolina has 7.

To be fair a lot of people crapped on pickle too for calling them out earlier on their lackluster play during the wins. He was on par too - TPC
I know. But, I saw early on that Brukie was abiding by his agreement with TJ to wait until 20 games were finished before passing judgement. So, I've been watching. I expected more fire and brimstone. Maybe those two are rubbing off on each other!
Side note: has any phrase aged more poorly than "rubbed off on each other?" |

Im a man of my word but I really dont like evaluating the team on small sample size but 20 games is a quarter of the season and at this point I dont like the direction this team is heading. I mean this is some brutal play, I never thought it would go down like this. Mika couldnt get any worse and he did. Its ugly.
I cant come with more fire and brimstone, its all ready burning in here. Even Tj isnt happy with this team and he is the most positive fan I know. |

I am looking at this as more for when they do really rebuild it wont be as bad as past ones. They have some good pieces. Its the core vets that have regressed or aged out.

I’ve always felt that this older core has been good enough to win but that’s when the younger core wasn’t really pulling its weight, and now it’s a complete 180. They can’t get both cores working together in unison is basically it in a nutshell.
I think we all agree now that something needs to happen. And to me I can deal with the forwards sucking of they can fix the defense because is clearly their Achilles heel now. They can’t stop a nosebleed |

I think we should extend an olive branch to Tom. He knows how to get this party going. |

Not sure if anyone agrees, but the PP isn’t as fearsome as it was last year and I think that saps a lot of the mojo the team has. Like it needs it to do well to give the team confidence. They should let the kids take the first minute or so for now and see what happens |

Last night was the ultimate Frank you to upper management. They put out a memo if you guys don’t pick it up trades will happen. Then the players respond with that pathetic effort, especially only 2 shots for a while in the 3rd when they were down a goal. Changes have to happen. We have past the point of no return lol |

Cause they refuse to take Zib off of it. Lavi deserves the blame |

That really annoys me. These players have had coaches fired numerous times and basically given the keys to the city and every year it’s not good enough
If I turn on the players it’s bad and I have lol |

I was actually happy to hear the few remaining fans raining down boos at the end of the game. If that doesn't resonate with the players and those sitting up in the managerial box, I don't know what might. |

UPDATE: Chad Ruhwedel has been recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack and Matt Rempe has been assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack.
This could mean one of two things:
1) Something is happening
2) Nothing is happening |

I am over the rempe show. He is not even a top 16 fwd for the team. Just a waste. Let him play in ahl until proven otherwise

Rempe isn’t good enough for the NHL is what it means lol. He needs a full season of development/seasoning down there. I get he brings a spark when he plays but it’s not worth it enough to play him |

3) Rempe's dumb-ass penalty illustrated that he doesn't belong here at this time.
I really hope he progresses. He has a skill package unlike many others, but he can't be a liability up here. We have enough of those. |

The net front presence is really bad this year. The opponents could sit and bbq steak before they score a goal in front of Shesty/quick. And they don’t handle the rush either. Good times lol
- Slimtj100
Drury sent out an ultimatum- looks like the Vets did the same : “ we are not playing until Drury is fired!”
Just as i posted |
