Just stumbled upon this. Stuff we knew already but it’s a little annoying that Seravelli thinks other teams are throwing this out there and it’s not Drury. Like wtf man, isn’t anything confidential with these GMs

Anyway, if they could somehow get Jiricek the right side post Trouba would be really good. Maybe even be able to move Fox to the second pair and ease the burden on him eventually. Also we’ve seen Schneider be good on the left side which makes that side much better at the same time

Fox can’t be on the top pair. When I think of a top pair, I think of Staal and Girardi. Didn’t matter who was on the other team, they were always able to shut down the opposing top lines for the most part. Sid in his prime, Ovi, etc. We don’t have that right now. Fox is best suited as a 2nd pair to get away from the responsibility of going up against another teams top line and not have to focus on that.

Our defense is to small and needs 2 of Lindgren Fox Jones moved. We can keep 1, but can’t have all 3.

Get a big, physical defenseman that can go up against another teams top line and let them be the shutdown pair. Miller for Xjehai?

That took me down a weird rabbit hole. Someone proposing waiving Mika (a la Goodrow) and sending him to Hartford until he agreed to a trade. Pretty dark but he’s hardly an NHL player right now. Wonder if you could have a team claim him and then agree to a second trade to take on a lesser bad contract. No idea if any of that is allowed but there’s no way he can stay a Ranger for 7 more years playing like this.

I work with networks and computers etc. Lots of updates/upgrades that happen after hours and on the weekend.

I do try to do OT before we open each day and miss lunch and so on. Condense it as much as possible. We also work a modified 8-3 schedule during certain times so OT can add up quick.
