I could see Berard or Othmann part of a deal, but not for some scrub. Like a big piece for a team for a dman because we definitely have an excess of forwards we could use for a real good defenseman. We can’t run this defense out all year, no way no how

Unless he’s bringing back a top pairing LD AND chytil is certain to be coming back it makes no sense to me. Like, chytil with cuylle and berard could be great. But the defense needs to take a huge upgrade

To me he’s lost a step (speed). He used to fly around out there. He isn’t going anywhere that’s almost 100% guaranteed, so with Kakko emerging at center, it seems like an obvious decision to make. Maybe he’ll thrive over there again. He can’t even cover number one centers anymore let alone produce offense

Definitely a problem with no correct solution other than hopefully he figures it out.
I’d bump him down to the 3rd line, take the pressure off him of going against other teams top lines and let him get his confidence back.
My wife got them for us back in August for my birthday. Both of us would rather get dinner given the circumstances surrounding the team and who the opponent is. Also we have 2 young kids and are exhausted all the time and getting to the city sounds terrible right now
