I do like the Panarin chytil cuylle line but poor kakko and poor jones
- picklerick

I'm so annoyed that the current theory regarding Kakko being on the block is because he requested it due to lack of ice time. On one hand he didn't deserve it until this season but on the other he deserves top 6 ice time right now.

He’s playing with mika and kreider but they’re getting 3rd line rushes at warmups

I missed that detail and I'm even more annoyed. They are punishing Mika and Kreider (Good) but also not rewarding Kakko for his great play this season.

It's not blasphemy to say anything here. Except maybe to wish Lou Gehrig's disease on someone. 🤔
Most contention you encounter comes from your insistence in absolutism. Vesey is nowhere near a wasted roster spot. You've just always had difficulty realizing these guys are human, not PS5 simulations, and they can suffer through poor play.

- Tonybere

Vesey provides nothing we can’t get from someone else and then some. Edstrom and Bedard are both better options over him. When the team is healthy, he should be the 13th and maybe even 14th forward.

Newsflash, Kakko can't hard carry them right now. If he can he deserves to get locked up immediately. I actually wonder if he even wants to be here anymore.

What are the actual lines? Smith deserves to be scratched

They didn't know that going in. Vesey is not a plug, he brings value. We can't hindsight every move made. Vesey was added security and makes an appropriate amount.

If lav had balls mika would be the one scratched. And trouba for ruhwedel or Mancini
- picklerick

This would be awesome to see. To scratch Mika and leave Kakko at C.

The Vesey thing is more, Edstrom and Bedard bring more to the table than he does. He’s fine as a 13th/14th F, but from what I saw quickly he’s in and 1 of the other 2 scratched? I’ve been running around so haven’t been able to look at the lines. If I’m wrong, my mistake

I have to rant at you guys a little.

Do you really think scratching Mika\Trouba was actually realistic until now? Even now I doubt it happens.

He is trying to let his vets figure it out and get back on track. But they either don't care or are unable to do so for whatever reason. I honestly don't know which one it is.

With the "demotion" to Mika I think Laviolette is working his way there. Trouba I could have seen being scratched earlier than this point, but again I doubt it will happen. He has been atrocious all season. Miller should have been scratched weeks ago. Maybe we will see a middle of the road benching for some guys. Fucking at least scream at them on the bench for Christ's sake.

Reilly Smith may be the warning shot, though I think that his scratch will not carry much weight with the vets here.

I don't disagree but I think they are also trying to let him get going as well. He missed a good amount of time.

I talk about it all the time, the hitting, the fighting, the emotion from the bench, you see how the crowd reacts? The bench? Igor slamming the glove cheering his teammate on, that’s what this team is missing on a game to game basis.
