Established scoring Winger or a RHD ready to play. That’s what they’re focusing on. - Pairo11
Canucks have both a scoring winger and a RHD that should be available.
Have you ever heard of Nils Hoglander, a great 24 goal scorer from last season, who is signed for another 3 years at only 3 million per, as well, the Canucks have RHD DeSharnais who has about 150 career NHL games and is signed for only 2 million until after next season.
Hope you guys don't miss out on this wonderful opportunity |

Pretty sure Hoglander is done in Vancouver.
May net a 4th rounder.

Hoglander went through this process early last season. Reduced minutes followed by scratches etc. He actually responded well after scratches and eventually went on a run that ended with him having 24 goals. I don't think low minutes is the end of the line. Unless they have a trade set up for *needs*, you'll probably see him out of the line up first before they do something like simply give him away for nothing. A 24 goal scorer should be a decent sweetener in a package besides.

I don’t think he’ll win the Calder, my bets on Celebrini, but he’s so good. Donna knows about as much as Reuby does about hockey.

Thinking back, I think Don maintained that he was a cancer. I'm retracting my original comment about bust...

Hogs keeps on making bad decisions. Dangles when he shouldn’t & turnovers that get us hemmed in. Really isn’t getting it let alone not being a forecheck force. |

When he pulled his game together last season, he played a lot like Garland. Greasy on the boards... dogging the puck carrier relentlessly... players wanting to kill him.... Johnny on the spot in front of the net for the pass off the boards...
I've seen absolutely none of that this season. We know he's capable of it though.

Imo he plays too loose at the wrong time & it’s glaring on the eye test. Simplify his game & be tenacious again. He’s done it before & should stick to what really got him a new nice contract.
Vegas is getting stomped 👍🏻 |

With his speed & strength on his feet he has to be a pest. Let his skills shine when opportunity arises. Forces the play too much. Get under their skin. |

It’s not first time Hogs got tough love from RT. Come to think of it he’s done it to Dak and it worked in the end.
One thing he’s got going is they are running only 12 forwards and he’s not waiver exempt.
Sure he’ll work himself back as he has done last season as well. |

Different line mates and how Tocchet has deployed him this year also a factor. |

Just wondering what PA and JR think of RT's deployments for NH? I mean maybe he needs a shot with BB,EP, TB, JD CG or DH? Possibly DJ AR or MS? what about a line with NH with KS or PS? Please advise and thanks !! |
