I'm starting to believe he crossed the line with either the players or the coaching staff and senior management told him to GTFO.....trade incoming. IF that is true and it got out, it would deflate his value a bit. So I get the secrecy to it. - Pacificgem
Sure if that's the case fine. Everyone knows team's are calling on JTM, and they're listening or not doing their jobs.

The drama that surrounds this team is amazing. Everyone complains about the "toxic" fan's and media. This management group brings this on themselves. - VanHockeyGuy
Name another team in NHL history that their number one player walked away from the team mid season? Patrick Roy?
I can’t think of a similar situation. Only the canucks. Franchise is cursed. |

Serge Savard
“Patrick had become too important in the club. He took up too much space in the dressing room, had too much influence on the coach. Over the previous years, I had to handle him with kid gloves." |

Hmmm… probably the reason why he’s soon going to be on his fourth team. |

I just hope the return is good and includes a young center. |

They would 100% need to get a center back if they're selling Miller. They feel like they can contend now. Can't really be running Suter as the 2C (as good as he's been the last couple of weeks.)
Still don't think they're going to or are planning to move him. |

He's not there yet, they need a legit #2 center behind Pettersson. |

Just chatter heating up. There's other irons in the fire though.

I think the haul will be impressive. I’d rather the team focus on defence but a centre is definitely needed. |

100%....as I said yesterday, a 50 point second line center and a young top four dman would strengthen the team in my opinion.

Me too, just when I started to like him, from hating his selfish ass, he goes right back to be his true self and me hating him again.

If the return is fantastic, you sorta gotta pull that trigger. Opens the window up for longer. |

Miller was mean to Pouty and GM spoke to him about how Pouty needs to be coddled.
Trade Pouty's sorry ass. |

You know JR isn't going to put up with any crap. Could be a stealth Lou Lamoriello type deal in the works?

Both players are from Canada, so highly unlikely.
Also, cap is an issue, as well as Miller's NMC, which if he was moved not sure Buffalo would be a destination he would accept a trade to |

100%. Another good point about extending that window. Now I’m sold.

The cap is the easy part, the NMC, not so much. It would have to be something that Miller really wants. Buffalo is close to home for him and they have some good young players. |

Asked a friend in Vancouver who's a bit more connected, he said the Miller thing had to do with marital issues. Figure that to be pretty solid info. |

I figured it was that or a problem with one of the kids. |
