Also the 8th year only the rangers can offer helps keep his price down a bit.
Drury has more leverage in negotiations with every passing game it’s starting to feel like - Slimtj100
Agreed. He’s someone you most likely keep. Only way he’s traded is if they truly rebuild. |

It would seem so but if Igor makes it to free agency there is a GM out there who will give him the 12m |

Mika sucks but there is something wrong in that locker room. Drury played his cards wrong and it is affecting this team. The Goodrow and Trouba fiasco carried over. Trouba is a lame duck Captain now. How can anyone listen to him when they know he is a goner?? Instead of calling Mika out, he calls out CK20, backwards. |

Don’t think any team would give him more than $10m. Not sure many teams could even afford too - nyrangers2
The Hurricanes will have roughly $32 million in cap space next summer and will need to sign one defenseman and a goalie. |

Are you implying they might go after Igor??
Your owner is notoriously cheap. |

On front office staff he is. On players he is not.
Canes have been at or above the cap every year since he took over, and the stated approach to goalies is that you shouldn't spend on them unless they're one of a very small handful of guys who actually move the needle themselves.
Igor is one of those guys.

Didn’t realize they have that money. Wonder if Igor would move there. He loves NY. But also loves money |

the team has given up on Drury, nobody else. This is where the first change needs to happen. |

If that really is the truth I want nothing to do with any of the players. Trade them all. Your getting paid millions suck it up and play. Million of people around the world hate their bosses but still have to do the job. I refuse to believe that reason |

Not only that Drury has given them money, NTC, etc basically anything an athlete could possibly ask for. It’s just more proof that they’re as soft as any athlete NY has ever seen. Cant handle any heat from your front office? Gtfo you losers
I agree with you 100%. (frank) these guys. They’ve completely lost me and that’s nearly impossible to do lol |

I still don’t believe that’s the reason. I just don’t think they are as good as we think. It’s a big reason teams like Tampa, NJ, and Florida dominated us in the playoffs the last 3 years and why they haven’t been good 5v5 for years |

My first move would be to trade Lindgren to Utah for a few picks.
Second move would be to recall Mancini to replace Lindgren.
Third move, and a shakeup one at that is to trade Miller to Pittsburg for Pettersson and a pick. |

Couldn't be part of the "official" deal but Dundon could potentially give him a percentage of the MLB expansion bid he's leading. |

I dont understand the desire to rush Mancini, I think he should play top minutes in Hartford for at least the first half of the season

I think he'll get significant minutes as a chance to prove he belongs in the NHL. He did extremely well at the beginning of the season. |
