Guys, just got home with Lenny through the worst snow storm after his 2 surgeries today. He’s doing fine and was great throughout the entire process! Stressful day!

Got him castrated …worst Christmas gift ever!! And I also got him a “Gastropexi” which is tacking their stomach to their abdominal wall to prevent the bloat and stomach flip for the rest of his life. And it’s cheaper in a preventative manner rather than emergency-based. I paid the $3k ……not something you want to go through again

Dude….,I came home from work one day and watched my Berner literally suffocate on dry land in my house!! He was gasping, struggling to breath and trying g to eat hair and poop off of the floor to try and induce vomiting to try to survive.

I threw him on my shoulder and drove directly to the vet. We got a “kit” to buy us time. Then I had to drive from between Winnepeg and Thinder Bay all the way down to London, ON to have the $3k surgery . I’ll pay happily in a preventative manner as to NOT ever witness that and recreate that experience on my best friend in the world
