yeah there would need to be regulations to have a controlled designation of origin, kinda like for wine, then you'd always be sure of what you're buying.

i would think if they're really interested in helping patients with their pain, they maybe shouldn't complicate the process of them getting what they need. i feel like i'd standardize the strain names for medicinal patients.

the names can be a bit goofy, but the most important part imho is they get what kind of strain it is at least (indica, sativa, hybrid, etc.) and the right THC%, to proscribe the most appropriate weed possible to one's specific needs.
