Allvin already equaled Benning in year two, compared to what Benning accomplished in 8 years.

Allvin & Rutherford have made some excellent depth changes that Benning seemingly couldn’t do.

As I’ve said before, the one saving grace from all the losing Benning did was he got good draft positions which enabled them to get Petey and Hughes. So, in a sad kinda way, I’m thankful he was so bad at his job.

lol softwood is so dense he doesn't really get the inner workings of how NHL teams operate. His obsession on Benning borders on mental illness lol. Sure Benning had gaffes like all GM's but ultimately Benning and his team helped huge in putting together this current core and success the team is enjoying. Credit where due even if you mask it all under the new regime which is fine, and yes Allvin and co have done a very fine job of rounding out what was provided before them...but much work to do and we really haven't gotten any further in the PO's with this new group...yet.

Sure Benning had gaffes like all GM's but ultimately Benning and his team helped huge in putting together this current core and success the team is enjoying. Credit where due even if you mask it all under the new regime which is fine, and yes Allvin and co have done a very fine job of rounding out what was provided before them...but much work to do and we really haven't gotten any further in the PO's with this new group...yet.
