No he's not. That's not even remotely close to being accurate.

Really? Who is the best center in the Flyers org right now? I would say Luchanko followed by Cates. It's not pretty picture for the Flyers at center currently.

Frost is not a goal scorer, he is a playmaker. Frost has shown he has the skill to lead the team in scoring over a significant period of games as well as chip in goals.
- MJL
Frost sucks and he has the compete level of a 5 year old girl.

Yah, they say Frost is a playmaker. How do you compare Frost's playmaking skills to Michkov's? I don't think Frost is anywhere close.
- jd250

Why would you actually compare Frost, who was a later 1st round talent to a player with an elite skill level?

because you said he was a playmaker. Michkov is a playmaker. Frost is not.

Yes, really. The best center in the Flyers organization right now is obviously Sean Couturier. Luchanko isn't even ready to play in the NHL.

Yes, Frost is a playmaker. That's the type of player he is. First you compared by goals with Tippett and then Michkov. You're all over the place.

Darn Soto to the Mets. I guess the Phillies can't compete with Steven A. Cohen's wallet.

Couts would be a third line center on almost every other team in the NHL. It's amazing that an organization knows for always having center depth has stooped to this level. This team has to play balls to the wall every night just to compete and it really doesn't matter the opposition as tonight illustrated as plain as day.
- Phillywhiteout

Absolutely agree. Ideally, Couts should be in a Joel Otto role being a shutdown checking center. It's going to take many years at this moment to slot Couts in that role. They have no quality centers in the AHL. Arguably the next best center prospect after Luchanko is Jack Berglund. Berglund is a long term project, and not nearly as close as Luchanko to playing in the NHL.

Luchanko had a great camp for an 18 year old…but he realistically is two-three years away and that’s if everything goes well. Sure he might make the team before that but they need him to develop.

The Flyers have won 5 out of 28 games in regulation. Worst in the league. They aren't a good team.

If Michkov was in the KHL this season, Flyers are right there with CHI in the standings. Its a testament to how good TK and Michkov have been to drag this offense forward.

Agreed. Sanheim has also taken a step. If any of those players falter or get injured. It will avalanche. They're a mediocre offensive team and one of the worst defensive teams in the league.

They sure were pumping up Drysdale on tonight's telecast! I thought the Flyers stumbled upon the next Paul Coffey the way they were talking about him! I fear that he is gonna have a short NHL career cause he looks like a powder puff out there. Someone just breathes on him and he goes down.

Hey hey now. No talk of a 3rd line roll. That guy once had back to back 76 point seasons.

Coots is fine as a 2nd line roll. He isnt playing at a level worthy of a #1. We dont know if he will ever get back to that point. Really depends when his decline happes. Coots just needs to focus on playing 82 games at the same level and finishing with more points than 38 or whatever he got last season/ He's on pce for 45-46 points so far.

Krebs maybe. Seems the same prediciment as Frost. Promising C, not living up to the hype.

Buffalo did seem like they were high on Krebs at the beginning of the season, was playing 4th line mins for a while. With Buffalo on 6 game losing streak hes on the top line LW. No idea how they feel about the kid at this point
