They may be tops in soft bounce off hits, but that’s is just ineffective as you hitting on your crush Sophie Trudeau.
Need players that can hurt when hitting, Kucherov just chuckled when players bounced off him. |

You can add Harry Neale to that list as well. - Pacificgem
But Benning still sits at the top of the trash pile. |

I’d put FA at the top for no vision on a mgmt team. Took too long to see the value in doing so. We can blame Benning & Linden etc but he pays the bills & it’s not like he cannot afford it. |

I thought the Canucks were having a dip in their play, how do the Rangers go from winning the coveted Presidents Trophy to being so mediocre in one offseason? |

Important game tonight against the Blues, who are 4 wins 2 losses, one an OT loss, in their last six games. Perhaps just a bump from a coaching change, but they seem to be playing better. On a side note I read JT Miller skated yesterday, good sign!! |

Demko time? - NorthNuck
Hope he has a strong game, need to be defensively strong in front of him.
Miller skated before the team took to the ice today, will have full practice with team tomorrow, hopefully he will play Thursday if not should be against Boston Saturday.
Time to turn this team’s fortunes around. |

They're very fortunate to be in the position they are, points wise, considering how much has gone wrong thus far this year. Hopefully their fortunes change in the very near future and Miller can lay off the bottle. |

Hopefully provides a boost to the team.
i have low expectations for his level of play to start.
Same with JTM.
But hopefully this is the start of improved play overall.

Demko time? - NorthNuck
Demko time:
Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet confirmed following the morning skate that Demko will finally return after suffering a left knee popliteius muscle injury against the Nashville Predators late in Game 1 of the clubs’ opening-round NHL playoff series on April 21.
“There were a lot of factors in the decision and you want him to feel comfortable,” said Tocchet. “Lankinen was playing well and it wasn’t a pressure issue to get him in, but we wanted to get him in. He’s comfortable to go in and we’re excited.
“He’s a huge part of our team. Goaltending hasn’t been our problem, but it’s nice to have a guy like Demmer coming back for us to solidify even better goaltending.”
Added Elias Pettersson: “Obviously, everybody wants him back. I get to see all the work he had done off the ice and it’s good to have him back." |

They've been saying so much over the last couple years how much of a leader he is in the room, everyone else on the team seems to love the guy. Probably helps to have a psych major in the leadership group |

Well character and presence on the team does play a factor. So we all know the team played well with Demko last season.
At the very least, right now with Demko back, there is no drop when Lankinen needs a rest. Which he does because he’s been played a lot. As we all know can’t play Silovs as he’s lost his mojo and returned to unreliability.
As time goes on we can see Demko take over the No. 1 role. For now he’ll be eased in you guess based on the background of the injury and all. |

By the weekend we should have an almost fully healthy team minus Hronek. Which is still a concern because fully healthy it’s been well reported they’re a top 4 D short for contention.
At least, they can compete better with Demko and JTM back. Both also add a lot to the team vibe too. |
