Boeser 2 min because the player in front of him fell down... wow!
...and they score on it. Well done NHL. - boonerbuck
True, but then a phantom make up call, letting a stick breaking slash go to turn it into a 5 on 3... refs all but threw the puck into the net for you as an apology.

It's a head scratcher that as slow as his start was... when they left for the road trip, he was leading the team for goals at home. That shows you just how terrible this team plays in front of their own fans.

Actually Parayko delivered the apology on behalf of the Refs. |

Won a bet on the lake today. Been fishing a trophy lake and some guys there every day have been fishing a deep hole and not catching anything bigger than 3 pounds. Told them our fish in the shallows have been averaging 5.5 to 6.5 pounds. No I havent been weighing them. Don't need to. I catch over a thousand trout a year. So he brushes me off several days in a row even though the fish are on the ice for him to see. He comes back today with a scale and wants to settle the debate with a bet on how much my fish weighed. Closest wins and he claimed 3.5 pounds. I said 6. It was 6 pounds 7 ounces. What a dip poop. His ego was getting roughed up over the last week with my claim that I know where the big fish hang and thats all we catch.
What this fool doesnt know is the big trout dont hang deep in the winter. They are susceptible to low oxygen and hang in the top layer of the lake until spring turn over. Therefor they feed in the shallows a lot.
Come to think about it, it may have been Load Management.

Obviously, but it could be 5-2 Blues right now. At least they have a chance to tie it up. St. Louis has clearly been the better team though. |

Canucks are so sloppy. I don't get it. Last season, I thought one of their strengths was structured play. Disciplined game. This season so far it's so sloppy and chaotic.
Last year, Myers stood out for the chaos he created. This season, he looks poised next to the rest. Crazy. - bloatedmosquito
It's those awful downhill skate jerseys. They reek of losing. |

Blues have 22 shots near the end of the game. It's hardly heroics.

Clean hit?? It was a delayed offside, he knew it, and checked an unsuspecting opponent. They'll use a video of that play when teaching officials what an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty looks like.

Both teams were terrible. It's not like the Canucks were in a lop sided affair. Shots were even, Canucks doubled them on hits 30 to 15, only lost the face offs by 6 without Miller in the line up, Blues had more give aways, Canucks had more take aways 14-10, and were beat out on blocks by only 4.
It was just ugly to watch. A good team would have steamrolled the Canucks tonight.
