He's just an elite talent, cross ice feather pass, made it look too easy - Trox88
Right now, I say Michkov is better than Bedard |

Yeah it was. Imagine the return they could have gotten for him?
What benefit is he providing now? They wont make the playoffs. By the time they are a contender he will be well in to his 30's.
Right now he is a Rolls Royce in the ghetto being driven by a homeless guy.

Very encouraged by drysdale. He’s been better since retuning. - Hextall271
Yup he’s being coached! Just like Werenski praised Torts for helping him develop, Torts will do the same thing for Drysdale |

We need to get rid of him at any cost before his ntc kicks in. 7th rounder. |

Nah, it was not clear what the Flyers would have got for him. Players that are due big contracts usually bring back less because there is no cost certainty for the other team, unless they work out a deal before the trade. TK will be good for several more seasons and will lead this team when they are ready. And with the cap going up the next couple of seasons, his contract will look even better. |

I like Bedard a lot, thankful the hockey gods allowed Michkov to drop to 7. I was convinced before the draft the Flyers would draft Ryan Leonard. Leonard will be a good pro, but Michkov has a chance to be generational.

I like Leonard and wanted the Flyers to draft him because I thought he was the safer pick. Happily I was wrong. Michkov might be the best player in that draft when all is said and done |

What does it was not clear what the Flyers would have gotten for him mean? What makes it clear? It was a mistake by the Flyers to re-sign him and not trade him. His contract is not one a team like the Flyers should be getting into and it doesn't matter how much the cap goes up. When the Flyers are ready, if that ever happens. He won't be the player he is today.

I still think the Flyers will contend sooner rather than later. 2025 will be a very important year for the Flyers future. |

In the end, I do think Bedard or Michkov will be the best picks out of that draft, no doubt. Picking at #7, that was quite an accomplishment by Briere. Sure luck was involved, still had to turn the card in.

I'd like to see the Flyers come out in the 3rd and continue to dominate the game at 5 on 5. No penalties. Don't sit back |

He would have been a cost controlled asset for two seasons on a contender. There would have been a huge haul. This is literally why everyone wanted him traded |

It’s not popular to be positive but I’m happy for him. Torts had his back after last game and he’s rewarding him. |

More absurdity. - Hextall271
Two points, I don't think anyone with maybe one exception thinks that the idea that the Flyers should've trade Konecny instead of re-signing him is absurd.
The other point is that no one has suggested that they should've given him away for a 7th rounder.
Those facts speak for themselves.

In case you haven’t noticed, a lot of the time I am being facetious making light of the constant negativity here and disdain for those who aren’t all doom and gloom. I do find it absurd that I’ve read comments about the idea that it’d be better if mm hadn’t come over. Or that the team hasn’t been relevant since 75 or that tk should have been dealt at almost any cost. I have read these comments on here not necessarily from you but they’ve been posted.
Those are also facts. Another fact is that just because you say something is a fact doesn’t make it a fact. Most of your comments are opinions. Even if you post them ad nauseaum. |
