Oh boy now you’ve done it lol 😂

Hamrlik's play in the 2013 2nd round vs the Bruins solely cost Tortorella his coaching job and I will always die on that hill

Part of the problem is these guys take this poop waaaaaaaaaay to seriously. I’m a mailman who has some spare time in a given day and comes up with trades because it’s fun. I won’t let these guys ruin it for me and you

Oh man. What a recall. Thanks for bringing up trauma.......

Dear diary,
Jimbro triggered me today.....

Remembering now the days the Rangers rotated Tamer, Popovic, Mertzig and anyone off the street as our 3-6 D-men.

So you are saying it could be done??

From what I remember, the 2nd player under 6’ wasn’t a full time regular but to keep the peace I let them have it.

Never understood that. He was a warrior and a consummate Ranger. He just wore down and was ultimately done in the NHL.

Nah...the whole time. His Corsi and Fenwick scores were always sub optimal

the vitriol all started when he wasn't making entry level money anymore, which is always the culprit

I think there was an August night like in 2015 where I was awake at 3am fighting with Joe Fortunato tooth and nail about Girardi lol

I think that Dan Girardi was a much better player than Lindgren and did it for much longer. He wasn’t perfect, but he was effective at what he did. He played more than twice as many games as Lindgren has for the Rangers and Lindgren is already falling apart. He was our worst player last night and fox was our best. And they WERE PAIRED TOGETHER. That feels like it shouldn’t even be possible

I know there's a lot of complaints going on about how much icetime Lindgren got last night, but with Miller going down and the team protecting a one goal lead it's obvious why that happened

For sure I get last night in particular. But he’s bad bad. At this point I don’t see how he’s a better option than an AHL call up

Watching it live, I felt that Schneider was clearly our worst player.

Goes back to confidence with a lot of these players. All time low. Then couple that with decline for other players, you get an epic bad situation.

Anaheim's Trevor Zegras had surgery today to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee. He's out six weeks.

It's actually much, much better than was initially feared. So good news for Zegras and the Ducks, thankfully.

Do you think having lindgren and miller as our top 4 LDs is helping us or hurting us

Lindgren had a good 4 years here. His body has just broken down at age 26. Can’t play his style.

When the rangers really retool they have to look at what really works in today’s nhl. Defenseman that can skate and move the puck with a balance of size.

Center depth that can create off the rush and have wingers that can score and forecheck. They need fwds that are able to score in different ways other than the east west stuff they do now. Very redundant lineup of skill sets

The east /west poop is insane. The other night in the Chicago game Trochek skated over the blue line and had a clear shot and passed it 85 feet to Laffy.

we have a whole line like that with the Chytil line, just need to stay healthy and marinate some more. Over time they will be nasty line to play against

It’s why the chytl line has been their best. Their top 6 refuses to lead that way or play any defense. And as much as I love that line I don’t trust chytl long term. Always hurt

@ Rangersaver: - Zib doubled up his season hit total last night
- Greschnergy#4

I gather your words Gresch are in reference to my comment on either the blog the night of, or after the horrible 2-1 home loss to the Hawks 3 nights ago. I mentioned Zib having then just 3 total Hits in the 10 games during their 2-8-0 skid, (now 3-8-0). With Zib registering 2 Hits last night, he has a whopping total of 5 for the last 11 games.

But of greater disappointment, his 2 Hits in 26 Shifts taken vs. the Sabres gave him a net total of only 7 Hits for the season, among which he has sacrificed throwing his body at the opposition in just 5 of both his & the team's 28 games played at this 1/3 point mark of the season. That's an average of 1-Hit delivered per every 4 games stretch.

In addition, Zib's 2 Hits thrown last night still left him short of "doubling up his season hits total" of 5 going into the matchup by 3.
