The Detroit Red Wings made Incredibox Sprunki a significant coaching change on December 26, 2024, firing head coach Derek Lalonde and associate coach Bob Boughner, and hiring Todd McLellan as the 29th head coach in franchise history, with Trent Yawney as assistant coach.
