How can you be this blind to the situation. Your article even backs up what some of us are saying about the contract...I don't get how you can just follow like this without scrutinizing things.

Neither Gauthier nor his camp have said anything on the ordeal, leaving Flyers and hockey fans questioning exactly why the BC product would not want to come to Philadelphia. The Flyers themselves admitted they are not sure of the exact reasoning behind Gauthier's actions.

Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported that on Tuesday that the issue stemmed from the Flyers not signing Gauthier to a contract last year. Supposedly, the team did not want a bonus overage carrying into the 2023-24 season, and that was enough to upset Gauthier and his camp.

They know what they have in The Room™.

There is no single best definition of culture or a great room ™️. However, in general, culture is a system of learned and shared beliefs, language, norms, values, and symbols that groups use to identify themselves and provide a framework. But in the flyers case it won't win throphies because of the middling talent and an archaic coach. So when the most naive fans doesn't buy the room & culture propoganda crap anymore, it will seriously hurt flyers gate revenue. That may change the owners and jumpstart a new set of ideas & strategies. 🙏

Do you know what you get when you have a mediocre to below mediocre team with culture and a great room? A mediocre to below mediocre team. Flyers fans have always bought into that nonsense and always will. It's why they continue to market and sell it.

It’s frustrating that they continue to do this, you can’t guarantee that Risto will keep up his solid level of play moving forward, it’s time to cash in

So you somehow know what they have been offered or what they are asking for? You are the smartest guy in class. Congrats on that!

I was talking about what they are being offered or what they want in return for Risto. That is old news.

Can you post pics or a video of you doing this?

If the Flyers are offered any kind of decent deal for Ristolainen that doesn't involve retaining salary or taking a bad contract back, they'd be fools not to take it.

Pretty clear what you left out when you compare both post.

Only thing I can think of is the certain price which is irrelevant. All teams have an asking price. Teams dont typically move guys for the sake of moving them, especially when other teams have interest. To me a Certain Price shoiuld always be assumed.

Just curious why you left that part out? Didn’t fit your narrative?

If true still a dumb reason. He still ended up sitting out that season and didnt sign until like the final game. Nothing that couldnt have been done with PHI had he and his camp actually tried to resolve the issue with the flyers. As far as Im aware the bonus overage issue only applies if hes on the roster which he wouldnt have been.

All none issues. Many players on the Flyers have had to go through worse situations not one made a big deal about it. Frost could have acted out at any moment with the Flyers as there are several times where he has been treatred harshly. Say what you will about him as a player and his future but he buckled down and worked hard. He didnt just cry and demand a trade the second things didnt go his way.

I literally just told you..... It should always be assumed. Teams dont give players away unless no one wants them. Teams clearly want Risto.

You're still not following. When he wanted to sign at the end of his NCAA season in March of 23, to burn off the first year of his ELC, he would've been on the roster and depending on the negotiated bonus structure, bonuses earned would've counted towards the Flyers cap.

Teams routinely give players away as cap dumps when a team is looking to move a player and clear cap. The Flyers have done it multiple times. Refer to Gostisbehere and Hayes.
