Still with the gimmick of changing quotes? If I didn’t know better I’d say you’re 12.
And again calling people liberal, who have told you multiple times they’re very much not liberal at all. Just because I’m a conservative that has a brain and can see the far right retards (ie. you) for what they are, doesn’t make me liberal.
Happy new year Turd! - TurdFergeson
Cool dude Cool. Maybe give it a rest in 2025 champ. Maybe don't derail everything you respond to in 2025 and offer some actual Hockey Talk or maybe a time out? Don't need to be triggered at everything dude yeesh so angry all the time you know you can get help for that right>? Best to you in 2025 champion.

If true, last year the rejected offer for Petey was Necas, Pesce and picks....what the hell was this management team thinking by saying no. Pesce was a UFA at season's end so there was no guarantee of resigning him but atleast you could have offered the 8th year....shoulda coulda woulda - claygolf83
Yeah that shoulda woulda coulda been a mistake lol |

Just like the team as a whole, he needs a reset. Probably somewhere in NY state... Rangers or Sabers? - NewYorkNuck

Time you move on from this core, while you can.
As VHG said in. Last thread, Boeser might be the easiest to move as he has an expiring contract with no protection, as well as Demko and Garland, who also have no protection.
Pouty has no protection yet.
Time for change. - Reubenkincade
This core is fine, they just had a 50 win 109 point season last year.
Does it needs some tweaking, yes, Allvin really depleted the defensive depth and they've had some key injuries.
I do agree that Boeser would be an expensive contract, love to get him and JT packaged for younger players and continue to build around Petey and Hughes. |

York Newbury: Canucks Close Out 2024 with a Loss - York Newbury
Thank you NYN, new blog was needed.
I will predict changes are on the horizon, who I can’t speculate, but if I was a betting man I might pick Pettersson and Hogs with a lousy dman thrown in a package deal. |

Are you (frank)in serious? Necas had a career high of 71 points, with the next highest being 53 points, at the point in which the trade was being discussed before they basically forced Petey's hand to sign the deal they gave him.
Not to mention Necas is just as soft as Petey, if not softer, and he hasn't really been a playoff performer either. Petey was a better player at 19 years old than Necas has ever been, but he's having a good year this year, so it's easy to look back now. |

If they don't trade Miller or Pettersson I hope they just hold tight and don't make any reactionary moves like trading Lekker, DPetey, Willander or Mynio. |

Agreed, but they really need 2 top 4 dman to compliment Hughes and Hronek, or at the very least 1 so that everyone can get back to playing controlled minutes for their skillset. Soucy is a 12min guy, Meyers 14 to 16, Forbort and Desharnais should be fill ins from the press box. |

There’s definitely some locker room issues that’ve come to the surface this year, despite what the players say it just doesn’t seem as cohesive this year. Allvin did a great job replacing Mikheyev, Lafferty, Kuzmenko & Lindholm in terms of production, DeBrusk, Sherwood & Heinen are easily out-producing them. Not to mention Suter and Garland have taken a step forward offensively.
Losing Zadorov is turning out to be a bigger deal than I’d like it to be. Too many depth dmen are playing way too many minutes. Myers played 23 minutes last night, he’s a 15 minute a night guy or your team is in real trouble. There’s zero transition guys back there without Hughes and Hronek. |

Nothing wrong with blowing up the F’s to get a great top 4D to build on. |

The key to that deal was Pesce, he is easily a top 4 dman that would have allowed us to perhaps move on from Chaos. We will never know if there were extension talks and if it were Petey for Necas and picks I agree that is was a deal that you can't make.

I couldn’t afford to pay before this poopshow, so nope. Last time I did was when the Sedins played and it cost about a grand for hotel, ferry and tickets then, bit out of range to waste hard earned money on. |

Of course I would, but, I don't go to game to be wowed by NHL hockey, like many others in the Pacific Northwest (when I lived up there) there's not a lot to do in the winter, it's an escape from the dreary winter days. It's also a one horse show, there's no other teams competing against the Canucks for people in seats. Attendance is not an issue for Aquilini, nor is money.

He was a pending UFA, you don't trade a Petey for a a guy who's a potential UFA, that would be a fireable offense. How bad would that look if he walked away!! |
