I would love if they forced Miller to accept a trade and then tell Petey 10 minutes later….FU, you’re gone too, announcing another trade that just rocks the franchise.

The return on both would be glorious, at least in a perfect world.

I'm sure they're getting lots of calls, it's at the point now management needs to show who's boss and send a message this won't be tolerated. I'm sure the offers are underwhelming at the moment.

If you think about the timing of when Richardson left the team and him already having to tell Miller to back off is a eye opener. Petey was playing great hockey, 2-3 years younger and putting together a career season... when Miller was playing like a selfish goof. What was the need to put so much pressure on a young player at the time? A time when Miller needed to get his game together...

Even if Petey is traded and Miller stays, who's his next target in the locker room?

He's a (frank)ing cancer and we were warned by eastern media when he arrived here.

Looking at it in a different way, Pouty had gone to management about getting someone else to complement his line, after Boeser was added to his line after Boeser had a pretty good season with Horvat. Benning then went out and acquired Miller.
Now Horvat was left playing with scrubs, but still managed to hold his own, somewhat, but Boeser who is Canucks best natural goalscorer only has his best seasons with Horvat or Miller.
The Canucks Mngt realize this and go sign DeBrusk to a lengthy contract and Pouty still struggles.
Maybe he is just a player that needs to have someone else and can not drive play on his own.

I say time to clean house with the drama queens.

Publicly getting called out is the first step. Trade them both.

So far it’s only been one, injuries don’t count as time away, talking your stick and hiding behind your wife does.

Petey got back on track with Miller out. I think it tells us something that maybe moving Miller and keeping Petey for now is the right track.

I'm guessing EP will be a new favorite whipping boy when he returns if he doesn't meet expectations.

Petey cannot drive a line pretty sad stuff for 11.6m. Should’ve never have got elite money tier 2 yes. Said it then & I won’t change it.

Petey is too fragile mentally if he’s going to earn his 11.6. Don’t blame others when it’s on him to be a pro & suck it up. You face challenges you don’t wilt.

Well that was obvious when Petey took 10 games off for a mental break... wait, that was Miller... my bad.

When you consider the Canucks are not interested in taking a step back, assuming they’re interested in winning now, it’s hard to even come up with a plausible trade scenario when you look around the league. For either Miller and/or Elias Pettersson.
