That’s fair, just get tired of the people that just hate Drury so much they just say it’s all his fault - TPC
Gortons core, Drurys fault they suck
Well not for one night!! i missed the game obv. The Gotham app is $10 per game if you want to watch. Some freakin nerve they have. I won’t buy it til it gets interesting and they maybe start making some noise.
1-0 without watching and listening in the car like the playoffs lol
Players, Housley, Drury, Lavy is my order of blame |

Didn’t Drury sign Zib? And trade Buch? And trade for 1 hip Patrick Kane? Don’t forget about the physicality he added the lineup last year either at the deadline with Roslovic and Wennberg. The list goes on and on. He could’ve traded Lingren over the summer and signed a guy like Dillon or Zadorov, but that would’ve been he smart thing to do and he’s a putz that doesn’t know how to manage assets. |

Same boat, I called Optimum like someone said yesterday and they are giving credit on your bill. Just have to get thru, the wait time is ridiculous.
They dont suck, just Zibby. They arent playing with any passion or drive. |

Maybe ‘25 turns the page of blahness.
I still think they’re better off losing, selling and retooling for next year simply because of the half dozen teams in the East that look extremely difficult to beat
Yea I’m gonna deal with it for now and just listen to games. 1-0 doing it, while watching I wanted to vomit so I won’t have that going on.
They should call up Othmann, idk if he’s healthy tho. But hes got real good numbers in the 6 games he’s played. That would give them some juice like Berard has given them |

Roslovic and Wennberg helped this team get to within 2 games of the Stanley cup finals last year. Wennberg also scored an OT winner in the ECF. What did you want him to do trade Gabe Perrualt to get someone else?
Also you are assuming Dillion or Zadorov had any interest in playing for the rangers
I am convinced Drury could trade for McDavid and you would still hate the trade if Drury is the one to make it |

That's the part that always gets me. People just assume a player will sign anywhere. It's not the case. NY doesn't have the greatest reputation anymore and other owners are finally doing right by there players while ours only cares about the Knicks and his poopty band (I'm pretty sure he envisioned JD and the straight shot headlining the Sphere opening, not U2). I don't think we'll see any major FA come here or waive to come here in the next 3-4 years |

Damn him for not trading for Askarov when we were trying to win a cup. Don’t forget that one lol |

I get Drury isn’t perfect, he made some mistakes. But he also made some good moves and signings that helped this team make it to two ECF in 3 years. To say he is at fault for everything is just false and ridiculous to listen too everyday |

Yea I didn’t see one rumor all summer that either player was ever interested in New York. But yep must be Drury’s fault he couldn’t convince them to come |

Trouba messed up whatever plans that would’ve been too. I’d assume it would’ve been a defenseman replacing. Drury can’t win with people, he sees this group has probably run its course and was, and is, acting on it. It can’t happen overnight |

Despite what some might think, I agree with you. As player and hearing what has happened in NY, Im sure the players agents also give them some insight with what has transpired with this team, Im sure some will be hesitant in signing here as long as Drury is in charge. |

I’m with ya man. I might be the only one who liked the Kakko trade lol I think he may sell Borgen for another pick, which is what he is trying to replace trading so many.
He definitely doesn’t sit on his hands like Lou does for example |

Agree there. I think he had plans and it didn't work same with Gorton trading for the 9OA and then being stuck with it. We only get to see the aftermath, not all the stuff that happens beforehand.

No Trouba didnt mess up any of Drurys plans, Drury did!! Drury knew of Troubas 15 team no trade list, he just was being a worm and get around it.
Listen if Drury had a replacement for Trouba, where is he?? Drury had no plan, he is an idiot.
Losing in the playoffs last year wasnt Troubas fault. If some of our forwards produced, they beat Fla. |

Gorton doesn’t get nearly as much as heat as he deserves. Specifically the first rders he drafted. It’s all Drury trading them or being ruined by someone else. That front office blew it with those picks. Miller and Chytil are even meh most of the time |

It’s Druys fault zib can’t play hockey anymore. It’s Drury’s fault Kreider got old and lost a step. It’s Drury’s fault the powerplay took a huge step back. It’s Drury’s fault laf stopped caring after signing his new deal. It’s Drury’s fault Rempe keeps getting suspended for hits. It’s Drury’s fault the kids don’t get more ice time over the struggling vets. It’s Drury’s fault miller doesn’t want to be more physical |

A lot could change in the next few weeks. The top 7 spots seem to be out of reach, but the final wild card is anyone’s to win. Agree with you that they’re better off selling and retooling for next year. I doubt Drury goes the Penguins route from last season and sells if they’re still in the hunt, just hope he doesn’t buy. |

NOW is this teams window!! Borgen isnt the answer!! - Brukie
But he did in fact replace Trouba. It’s funny now how all the sudden Trouba was good once he left the org. He sucked and was overpaid by virtually everyone who had an opinion and eyeballs
And now they have cap space to facilitate trades by our genius GM and get picks back that everyone loses their marbles over him trading in the first place
Just accept this year as a lost year and you’ll feel better. Me, I’m ok with it. I bet Tom is ok with it. But he isn’t here to calm yo ass down like I’m trying to do 😔 |

I think what happens is, unless they rally really soon and a win a bunch of games in a row…is sell Smith, Borgen, Lindgren, Quick and Vesey for picks. In addition, facilitate trades where he retains salary as a 3rd party. Probably trades Kreider and gets a 1st rd pick. Miller is a tough call. Zib is probably staying til at least the summer. I think that’s a start to a retool where next year they can revamp a nice portion of the roster and get back at it |
