Guillaume Brisebois drawing in Thursday for Erik Brännström made him the 29th player to dress for Vancouver this season — they dressed 29 players all of last season.

Not even half way through the season. Clearly not the whole reason this season has gone downhill, but injuries are definitely a part of it.

Per Dhali, he was told JT does not have a favorite city he would waive his NMC for.

Thanks Yorkers. Who are we trading today?

2024 was a good year for trades, we traded Vantel for nothing and won the trade.

"Dhali says the NY Rangers and Canucks are talking about a lot of pieces."
- Pacificgem

On Pettersson: Elliotte says the talk going around is if the Canucks are really serious about doing this (trading him). Players with his talent and age don't come available often so teams would jump at the chance to acquire him. #Canucks #NHL

Good win for the boys, disappointing they can't shut things down after being up 3-1, but they are missing their best two players. Just saw this below on X.

"Miller played 10 mins 5 on 5 - No one on the team played less.

Miller played 15 mins all together - Both Suter and Blueger played more.

Barely played late in the 3rd after his penalty

Didn't start OT"

Miller getting only 35 seconds on the one PP... 1st line center but only really out for the faceoff... wild...

Trading Minivan for future considerations was a win, as well.

Per industry sources, #Canucks have a high interest in #Isles Noah Dobson.

#isles

The Islanders by points and regulation wins, are the 4th worst team in the NHL and still only 3 games out of a playoff spot.

The Metro is a dumpster fire. The Islanders are a smoldering bag of garbage inside that dumpster fire.

There's no way you can ride this out without selling Nelson and the other expirings. If the Islanders go 25-15 to close out the season they'll still be under 90 points.

Those pluses would have to be pretty big. Like Willander for the Buffalo deal.

Tocchet needs to buck up as well and start utilizing his players properly.

Whoa this site survived ... nice! Checked back a handful of times before holidays and seemed dead. Anyway, thanks NYN.

The unfortunate part is that trading either would seem to signal at least a re-tool. I don't think we'll have the horses after the trade to compete this year (our D corps is too much a trainwreck to be solved in one trade), but hopefully keeps us building for next couple years with Quinn. Obviously not a surprise, but without Hughes there's just nothing generated from back-end, even less than my low expectations. A healthy Hughes and Hronek is still a nice base to build around, but the rest needs to be revamped in my opinion, hopefully including one of the young swedes next year. A part of me hopes Petey wins the power struggle so we can at least see CPetey & DPetey once!

Byram over Power works as well. Byram + Cozen for Miller is pretty even. Miller is by far the best player out of the 3. This makes both teams better as well in my opinion. But no way Miller waives for Buffalo.

I believe he’s holding firm but still itching to pull the trigger. NYR free fall comes down to if Drury thinks he can salvage the season. Let’s hope he does see it that way then it’s onto if Miller waives. If there is any truth Miller to NYR I wonder what is holding it up. Shesterkin injured could cool off any trade.

Watching Miller on the camera he looked like he was chilling to appease the mgmt. if true it’s not in him to pour water on his fire he just doesn’t tick that way. He has to play all fired up & hold nothing back emotionally. Anyone who’s ever known or played with someone outspoken to his degree knows what I’m saying.
