You know exactly why he is getting hate He is a Leaf and I get why some people love to hate a large fanbase but some take it to the extreme and unhealthy levels.

Imagine Cowan had the 5 min major? Or the minor at the end of the game? Those kids aren't even getting hate.

The whole team was crap and they had no juice. I watched Latvia play a certain way and it gave them success. The coaching was awful and deserves actual heat. Don't the coaches get paid for this too?

The coaching
Wasn’t a 5 for kneeing or a penalty
Dlckinson was brutal
Cowan was totally ineffective
Ritchie did squat
Late kneeing was a penalty
Discipline was outright horrible

In the end coaching & dubious player omissions was where the blame goes.

And Matthews for quitting on the US team

To me that is the best combination of players as far as talent and style of play...would be one of the best lines to ever play the game IMHO.

Always wanted M. Tkachuk. He plays the style of hockey I like most.

I dont buy the "canadian" style argument at all. We are trying to be like everyone else and are losing because of it. We are no longer physical at all.
