I’ll tell you why… He’s still young and is a cornerstone piece to this team. You’re never going to get equal value back for him and even though the team around him stinks. He’s been a consistent Norris trophy candidate. You don’t just give up on players like that so quickly. Be realistic about the situation. A lot of changes need to be made but look at a team like the capitals for instance. The team hasn’t been exactly great the last couple of seasons but they never said let’s move John Carlson. I understand the frustration but you don’t move a player like Adam Fox.

Fox is still top 20 in the NHL in assists and is playing with one of the worst d partners in Lindgren who he has to carry. Yes I would like more goals but he has never been a huge goal scorer. I don’t think he has been as bad as what you are saying.

IMO Miller and Lindgren go way before Fox. Laf I'm disappointed in but there aren't many that I'm not. Defense needs major upgrades and they need a true #1 Center. My old brain doesn't know how to make it all work. Moving Zib, somehow, would be a great start obviously
