I dont think they will stay that hot untill the end of the season either. They will start to drop way more points.

Indeed ... if we make the playoffs then I'll consider this a bonus.
The rebuild is not completed yet ... lots of young players will eventually replace others.

Thats why they got back into the mix, they were far behind at some point. The games mean something, that was the point. You have to make the difference between the direction of the team and the players as well. Of course the players want to make the playoffs. If you have ever played hockey or a sport, you would know that losing suck and losing a lot suck a lot. It ruined my summer as a kid playing soccer when we kept losing every god damn game. This is their life.

But Hughes knows the rebuild is not over and thats why he is very cautious when he gets asked what he will do at the deadline. But he said openly he is not ready to pay a high price for a rental
