love the compete level and the in your face attitude
Seems the whole team play with confidence in front of him, it's a welcome change from a backup goalie on this team - stinger67
Indeed, Primeau had good moments last year but this year he was ...
Dobes doesn't scare me when the other team comes into our zone ... he's a big calm mother(frank)er.

I guess they still thought Barron had the "potential" factor going for him and Carrier wasn't having a great start to the season.
Anyway, we are happy.
Now I don't have to split my hate between Barron and Dvorak.
But I have to say even if he makes too much Dvorak has been doing better focusing on his 3rd line defensive center role, he's good on faceoffs
I guess I'll have to focus my rage on Pezz, his dumb penalties and his general unusefulness - Fredo
Barron is still young and could always turn out fine, but I highly doubt he'll be more than a bottom-pairing dman.
we aren't hearing as much vitriol against Dvorak because his line is actually doing consistently well, with Gally and Andy they form a more than decent veteran line.
I like Pezz and find hating him would be unjustified in a way considering he's sacrificed himself a lot over the years by taking on much bigger guys than him and didn't look horrible in the process, but I get he isn't doing well enough to keep him with the team, as he's barely being used right now. I'd rather see him play regularly in the AHL, and give a chance to a younger guy instead who deserves it.

I should have a new blog ready later today.
Sorry it's been a while, been pretty busy with both work and family stuff lately.
Oh and on the good news front: My son was accepted for a semi-private class for goaltenders with Stéphane Waite, they held a mini camp to decide who could participate and he nailed it.
He's psyched to meet the guy that used to help Carey Price.

Was talking to some buddies yesterday about how i can't believe I don't want to throw my remote at the tv anymore everytime Dvorak has the puck. It's crazy how that whole team did a complete 180 in such a short time. I'm even thinking about the possibility of giving another contract to Armia at the end of the year... Still not sure though considering all the poop years he gave us.
