Did you see the chief of firefighters answering questions and one of them was "could you carry my husband if you needed to?" and her answer was "Well if I needed to carry him, he wasn't at the right place to begin with!"

Rich get richer. Like in Hawaii, the private equity firms will buy up the land for pennies on the dollar and dance us all to oblivion to the grateful tunes of bought politicians...Happy Friday!

He has been solid all season, and in fact, ever since he came back from Laval.

I have no issues with him in his current role.

Since his recall from Laval I agree he has been solid overall. Last night was exceptional though by him. I’m one of the most critical when he’s a ghost out there, but yesterday was the best game I can remember him ever playing.

The challenge with Armia is the other 80 games….

Happy new year everyone. Hope you’re all doing well.

Just wanted to chime in with one quick little thought. Joel Armia…..that was the best game I’ve seen from him that I can remember. Absolutely fantastic performance from him. Every shift he was noticeable and doing a great job. That shift without his stick was simply fantastic. Good for him. Jakub Dobes, take a bow as well. He’s been great.

its gonna be interesting to see if they will be tempted to be buyers now...

We can say that his trip to Laval was a total recall moment for him

I think their version of "buying" might be something like to not touch the current roster - no additions or subtractions...

Habs/Sens have the Leafs' number, would expect little else. If Monty is in goal, lay bets on a shutout.

I don’t see that either…. Not necessarily to break the chemistry but they need to keep a spot for the Russian, so it would be a rental and not sure it is worth the risk…

I’d hold position if I was them. No need to try and deviate from the current plan/situation and see how it plays out. I wouldn’t say no to a Savard trade if the price was decent as well. Dvorak needs to go sooner than later(unlikely at the deadline IMO). Just let it play out.

Again, depends on where they are come TDL.

If someone offers something stupid crazy for an asset, they need to look at it.

But if they are in the same position in the standings as they are now come TDL, and the roster is healthy (ie: no long-term injuries), my guess is they likely make no changes.
