They should try playing 34/16/88 on separate lines. All three can drive a line for extended periods of time, as we've seen, with Matthews' injury this year.

It would've. Dallas was the better team last night. The first goal against Woll was soft. The team definitely misses McCabe because it's been forcing Benoit into the top-4 where he just doesn't really belong. He's a good 5/6 option.

We do need more consistency out of the forwards. Matthews came out on fire and cooled off. Marner came out on fire and cooled off. Nylander, ditto. I thought perhaps JT looked decent more of the game than not. I liked Domi's game yesterday but perhaps McMann wasn't quite as on as he is in other games. That line feels like it needs all three guys going to be going - if one guy is not going, it's going to cause some problems. The 4th line was a (frank)ing nightmare - once again Reaves should be watching the game and letting someone who can play hockey, play.
