The contract he is on is an absolute gift to the Avs. I believe Makar might be the 2nd best player in the league, maybe 3rd when MacKinnon is going.

Fox is a damn good hockey player that is having a down year on a team that completely lost its way for 2 months. I'm not happy with his production either (right now) but getting rid of Fox makes this team a hell of a lot worse.

The contract he is on is an absolute gift to the Avs. I believe Makar might be the 2nd best player in the league, maybe 3rd when MacKinnon is going.

I say trade him only in the event of a retool btw. Not to trade him for no reason. Like i get it we’d suck without him. Because the assets we could get would speed up a retool more then anyone if that’s what they did

The whole team, Fox included, seems to be on the right track now at least. Where to a man they’re all playing better and wins will come. The last 3 games were impressive imo, that was a well deserved and earned 5 pts in the standings

Everyone has been bad this year. Just not sure trading fox bc of one off year at 26 is the move. If he was 30, sure sell now before its too late.

Fox still probably ends with 10 goals this year. I expect a bounce back next season. If not then I would be concerned.

Come on, TJ. You're not this nuts. Yes, Fox has two goals. He is also still on pace for 65 points and even in the worst season of his career is 8th in Dman scoring. Talk about cherry picking stats.
Do we want more from him? Of course. Is he overpaid or washed up? Not by a long shot. Or, more to the point, we certainly don't have enough info to say.
