Yeah I meant blow it dead. Whistle should’ve gone is main thing, and that is disservice to Mcdavid cause it likely never would’ve escalated to that point. Behind the play they let it go like that sometimes for a few seconds, but not right in the middle of the offensive zone as one team is trying to tie it in final minute. Refs had a total brain fart. Like I said, I bet the league will be choked at them. Piss poor management of the game.

That’s exactly it. Were you not surprised the whistle didn’t go? Final seconds, a team is trying to tie it and the two guys are wrestling on the ice in the high slot. Once they got tied up, Garland said I’m not letting this guy tie it, don’t care if I take a penalty. Both should’ve been called, but should have left more time on clock. Just saw highlights and shorty was talking about them tied up with 15 seconds left. Coincidental means face off in the zone. Perhaps gives draisaitl another shot, but probably not with the way Miller was on the dot.

The cross check that happened at the end, inexcusable. Should be suspended. Probably wouldn’t be suspended if there wasn’t the myers one as well, as someone else said. I just don’t think the cross check would have happened if they blew it down in a reasonable amount of time like they usually do. They let it go like 10 more seconds and mcdavid snapped.

It was the right move by Garland to tie up McD but let's face it Garland should have been assessed 3 penalties before MCD crosschecked him...which he deserved lol. But a smart move by Garland.
