That’s what they always do. Every oiler coach for a decade does the same thing. Get down in the score? Put McD and Drai out together and double shift them. It’s a poopty team with two great players.

Well the boys are trying but I really don’t think they have enough goals yet to beat draisaitl, let alone the oilers. Too many shifts left against myers, soucy, forbert, desharnais. Ugh that’s just depressing listing that as majority of a D corps.

Big night for Miller so far. Moving the puck well with a couple of points. Winning all his face offs. Maybe Don can stop panicking and freaking out on people with his never ending Miller vs Petey routine. He should try to enjoy the game instead investing all his time on the Miller deflective damage control.

Regardless of what was legit and not, the real joke is the obvious way they plan ahead on the calls. Give calls only to one team in the first, reverse it in the 2nd... and you can count on some (frank)ery in the 3rd depending where the score is late in the game. Classic Referee Night In Canada.
