Like I said, don't care about the loss - you are not going to win every game.

I really did not like how they gave up after the first - they were no longer aggressive, bad passes and turn overs, were not winning battles, weak forechecking, and that (frank)ing back pass!!!

Bad game defensively from him but overall he reminds me of Quinn Hughes , he has that kind of talent.
You got a steal on that draft pick.

Monty est le #1, pis il va le rester. il vous a sauvé le cul plus souvent qu'autrement depuis 3 ans.
Dobes a joué 4 games.

All good man, just annoyed by the non 4-0 goal off the bar that went the other way to make it 3-1. Leafs were down and out and gave them life. Only one franchise in the league i genuinely dislike, and it's them.
- Habsolute009

Youve whined a lot about an imaginary 4th goal.
Good game
Leafs gave ya a chance in the first, but then decided it was time to play.

Until next time. Have a good one.

Meh, People are mad about how the game turned out.

A win today and everything goes back to being positive.

That's the way the girouettes go.

indeed...

I'm just annoyed by the fact that when Montembeault is doing well, there's a bunch of fans who aren't saying anything and are just waiting for him to have a bad game to bash him constantly.

Perhaps.

I give him his due when he does well. Saved the Habs season when he started like 10 games in a row (or whatever it was).

But consistency is a key problem for him... and weak goals.

Not saying he lost the game himself, yesterday, but he really did not help his team.

We've talked about this before but it's very hard for some to bring out a player when he has been "tagged" in a role before.

It's just like how many couldn't see Danault as anything more than a third line centre despite him playing so well back in the day.

Montreal's underlying number yesterday show they were actually the better team for most of the game. Woll just made some incredible saves and Monty had an uneven performances, going from amazing saves to letting in stinkers.

Let's beat the Rangers tonight and stay in the race.

I dunno, I don't see a lot of "nice save by Monty" posts from you...

anyway, as always this conversation is probably pointless but before last night I thought he was very consistent. if you're waiting for a goalie who literally never has any bad games you might be waiting for a very long time.
